Actually, Rocky is a b-side by Hongjoong that was on their Fever pt.3 album so thats probably how you heard it before, they've also performed it during their 2022 tour. The boxers version is the title track in their new japanese album where they made it more rock-like with the guitar. The album has japanese versions of previous songs with one new song called "The King" you should check out, gives me Anime theme song vibes. ATEEZ are having a korean comeback in July, very excited! They teased the comeback during their european tour. They put posters up with a QR code that took you to an unlisted teaser video (it being unlisted relates to their storyline, kinda like anarchists / going against the government / secretive stuff). You’re right this is a song perfect for the gym and it works in Korean and Japanese. They have one new song on this album called The King which is fire. You should check it out.

This song was written by Hongjoong after watching the movies. It was apparently written in honor of Mingi who was on hiatus when it was written. This is the Japanese version of the B side on Fever 3. The main difference is this version has lots of guitar and more rock sound. They have a performance version of Rocky. If you haven’t reacted to it-their Fantastic Baby, Nillili Mambo on Immortal Songs 2 is fantastic. One of the best mash ups of a song.

It wasn't written in honor of Mingi, Hongjoong just said that it became like Mingi song bc his iconic enter on his rap part with the open robe, belt and throwing the towel, he stood out and looks like the main character so then he jokingly called the song Mingi instead of Rocky :)
