This album is just 100/10 I swear I’m obsessed with This World and Outlaw but I know that all of these songs are now my favorite atz songs They never miss
So happy you mentioned Muse, because I called Guerilla’s album the Muse-ification of Ateez 😂 This album only solidified it and having been a Muse stan for 10-ish years now, I’m so happy over it! The beginning with San’s vocals in This World also feels like a very Matt thing to do. *squints at Edenary* which one of you is the Muse fan

AMAZING breakdown and analysis of these songs! I so thoroughly enjoy your reactions because you really do a deep dive into the lyrics and always have such a great way of pulling out treasures and nuggets that I as a music fan would never have noticed. Bravo! I absolutely LOVE this album from Ateez and this might be my favorite from them along with the Movement album.

Thank you so VERY much for this album reaction!!!!!!! Somehow, I just KNEW you would love the whole album, especially the "darker" songs on it. . For me, this is one of THE best albums I have ever heard, and not just in Kpop, but in music in general!! It's a MASTERPIECE! And you will fall in love with it the more you listen to it! It's so cohesive and EPIC and the production is out of this world, as are the vocals of every member, the vocal layering, the harmonies, the cool transitions, the beats, the instrumentation, the profound lyrics and storytelling and the flow and SICK bars from the rap line!!! I personally can't choose a favorite, because each song moves me or hits me in its own special way. Yes, the Sector 1 reference is from the previous album, The World, EP1: Movement, and is actually a song on that album. The World EP1: Movement album is also EPIC and if you haven't already had a chance, you should listen to that one too (on your own time, not as a reaction) - it's SO GOOD!!!!! Lastly, If you haven't already seen them (again, you don't necessarily have to react to them, but check them out on your own), watch their performances from their comeback showcase of this new album. They performed "This World, "Bouncy," and "Outlaw". Seeing our performance KINGS with the amazing choreography and passion they bring to these songs on stage will have your jaw on the floor. Awesome breakdown! I love this album and the songs and lyrics are so amazing. You really dug into the meaning of the songs so well, and made some great connections that I hadn't picked up on. And once you said Muse a huge lightbulb went off in my brain. I love Muse and hadn't made the connection yet. Makes sense that I loved Ateez from the moment I discovered them.

This world also got automatically put in my top 10 ateez songs as soon as i heard it for the first time; and funny you mentioned that some vocals in dune remind you of Muse bc This World for me is SUCH a Muse-coded song, i sent it to my bf and told him "please tell me this song reminds you of the same band i'm thinking of" and not even 40 seconds later he replied "wait is this a muse cover or something?" lol which makes me love the song even more ofc

I can totally see the remark that you made about dune and the heaven and hell kinda depression thing... it reminds me of the predicament that rapper NF speaks about in his song Happy.
