ATEEZ: "Turbulence" Reaction 

You did this reaction on Jongho's birthday (221012). Perfect. To my knowledge this is the only ATEEZ MV with no choreo in it which adds to the sense of isolation/immobility. I loved your idea of being overwhelmed by possibilities, being daunted by the thought of all possible futures. . . Also, At the end of Inception we see Hongjoong after waking from the dream, standing in a tunnel. Having awakened, he is alone. So bittersweet to me. In the radio station live there is that very funny moment when Wooyoung taps San's shoulder and San turns around only to discover that Wooyoung just wanted San to watch him sing. you’re right. Usually there’s a lot of Jongho and the rap line and they’re really amazing but sometimes it’s nice to see a more balanced sound…usually if Jongho is unable to perform which has happened a few times, San takes hits his notes sometimes but ofc when a song is so dependent on those brilliant Jongho lines then it’s hard to replicate the song on stage if he’s not there…anyway Turbulence I think is exactly what was missing in ATEEZ’s title tracks and I’m so glad they put this out..the bridge was so intense and invigorating which was exactly the feel they wanted to go with. So well executed ❤

Turbulence was teased at the end of Deja Vu (and also the b side called Not Too Late), not the Real. Also little trivia, the melody at the end of this song is from Wave, slightly more melanchonic

I would like to comment a little on yeosang getting the least lines in a vocal heavy song even though he is a vocalist and has got the most unique tone in the entire group. Not to be rude but I kind of disagree with your thoughts. I think that the deep tone voices are perfect for a lot of genres because it catches attention( for example- when mingi comes in during wave or many other songs or like felix in most of stray kids songs or even V in BTS songs). Deep voices are the ones that catch the listener's attention. Ateez have mostly hard core songs as their title tracks and those are the songs where the baritone voice is given the catchiest parts(example-felix) and even in slower songs, its the baritone deep voice that is considered most soulful and comforting. It's also not the case that he can't sing or is worse than the others. If you watch some of his solo covers, he has got some talent in singing. In most of ateez's songs yeosang is given the least lines and the lines he gets are lines where he is not SINGING singing, they are like speaking singing. This really frustrated me a lot in the beginning. I think the reason for this is that ateez just couldn't figure out how to use his voice and talent in their songs. For the first few years, his talent got completely looked over and he still does have to bear the tag of just being "visual" because most people didn't get to hear him properly singing in literally any of the ateez songs. He is still considered the "least talented" by many of the fans which is kind of heartbreaking. When I saw his cover of hug me for the first time, I was blown away by how good he sings and then I saw a lot of his other solo singing clips from his lives or other videos and he is a really good singer. On the brighter side, they did use his deep tone to their best advantage in halazia. Fun fact: In halazia, yeosang hits an E2 note which is half a note deeper that felix in God's menu. And he has also been getting a lot more lines recently which makes me really happy. But still I haven't heard him like properly sing to best of his abilities in any of the ateez's song but I hope we get there soon. Thank you for reading such a big rant(if anyone did). It's just that this is not a conversation that gets brought up often in reaction videos and I had quite a bit of frustration of him not being able to show his full potential even though he is so talented.

Just a question... do u hate jhope? Looking at your background, why is Mang the only one not there? I just find it weird. You have 5 members for the mugs, no jk and jhope, but atleast jk plushie cooky is there. Why no Mang representation when you are ot7?
