They have different personality. Yeosang is in the quiet side while Wooyoung is in the loud side. When Yeosang feels like everything feels heavy and lonely, Woo will be there to lighten it up and cheer him up. If Wooyoung is going too wild or out of control, Yeosang will be there to calm him down.
These two are yin and yang. Black and white. What a friendship. I would do the same if me and one my college friends end up working at one company together.

We don't know if he'd have debuted with txt though, not all trainees make it to the debut group. Regardless, it was such an important decision for him to follow yeosang so they could, and i quote woo, "succeed together or fail together," their relationship is beautiful

I feel like Yeosang's thing is he's just really honest which people think comes off as him being savage but behind that savageness is alot of love for Wooyoung. He just has his own way of showing it mainly because he doesn't know any other way. I relate. Being so vulnerable with another person is scary even though we can tell Wooyoung is a die hard type of friend. Whereas San can be equally as shy does not try to hide how much he cares for Woo. Anyway I'm not trying to start a fight or anything cause I actually love and adore both these Friendships and honestly hope they all last forever.
Yeosang knew that Bighit can't debut him so he left Bighit and entered KQ.(Look how our yeosang never give up easily) He also failed in Mix9 audition... Wooyoung meant to debut with TXT but he left Bighit (although he is a BTS fan)because he want to debut with Yeosang and entered KQ. I think we need to stop asking who are closer with who because it may hurt the unchosen one. Let them tell or show it themselves. We don't need to make them choose. Just my 2 cents.
My bestfriend and I was once like this. I was Wooyoung and he was Yeosang in terms of personalities. We would have been best friends for 13 years now if he did not die 4 years ago. I miss you, R. ㅠㅠ
One thing I hate is that some Atinys say "no san is better with Wooyoung than Yeosang, woosan forever" or " woosang forever/Yeowoo" like why do you do that, all three of them are close friends, they're both Wooyoung's best friends, and they always will be so Woosansang forever, pls stop comparing both friendships. I'm not saying I hate Woosan and woosang, I'm just saying I love seeing the three of them happy, being friends close friends with each other.

Wooyoung is a very friendly and social person..... I’m putting this here for the people that think he can’t have 2 best friends and think that Wooyoung and Yeosang are not as close anymore..... woosang’s friendship is more behind the scenes and Woosan’s friendship is more on scene (that’s not to say it doesn’t switch)
It seems like it's both ways for both friendships however Yeosang is more low key with how much he loves Woo while San is just loud af with his I adore Wooyoung agenda lol. Different types of people adoring one amazing guy in Wooyoung.

Wooyoung and yeosang friendship is what a normal bff do.. we always bickering and can say or do annoying thing to each other without getting hurt. Deep inside they k ow how precious they are for each other.
Yk the one thing about Woosang which is the most special? I feel like they have a heart’s connection. They don’t need much communication to understand or feel each other.
I feel stupid for dropping this here but watching this compilation of their beautiful friendship made me cry at the end because i would do anything and i mean it ANYTHING to have a genuine friendship like theirs I literally lost hope to find a true friend like this I don’t believe in real friendship anymore i been betrayed by my own best friend and now i find it hard to trust anyone and lost the belief that a friendship like this might actually exist in this world so yes I literally cry whenever i watch their videos and compilations and that’s why i love Ateez the most even tho am a multistan it’s because they’re like a family and they always make me feel like I’m home
This reminds me of me and my best friend of 8 years. And I guess I was the Yeosang and she was the Wooyoung. Unfortunately, she passed away 2 years ago. In my opinion people who have best friends like that are truly lucky, since many people aren’t fortunate enough to find a true and honest friend their whole lives.
There friendship is truly the purest for me. Its not just that they have been together for 6 years now. But how they went through different stages of hardships in their life. Risking your whole possible career without the assurance of ever making it, for a friend. Is truly one of the hardest decision one can make. "Succeed together, or fail together" that quotation just warms me every time. Even after debuting together not everything was quite as good. They grew a little distant from each other. And had the thoughts that the other won't want them. But gladly they did talked it out. They always bicker with each other but also shows the other that they love them in one way or another. Their friendship shows just how a TRUE friendship works. You bicker, fight, pass savage and sassy comments, laugh, enjoy and most of all love each other more than anything. I just hope that their friendships stays forever and they see many year of success together.
