Really been looking forward to Atelier Marie Remake and I'm happy to hear it doesn't disappoint in an particular way. Thanks Jordan! (Potion Attempted) 🍶🍶🍶!!!
Can’t wait for my copy from VGP to arrive Jordan! Fingers crossed the Digital Deluxe Upgrade is an option directly from the game cart and despite being on a NA account oof I’d rather not have to expand all my eShop funds before doing the switcheroo to an East Asia account(?) just to snatch the compatible dlc 😅
You wouldn't need to do a switcheroo, you can create a separate account on your Switch homescreen for that region. Even if you buy the DLC from there it will work with your original account.
Finally, I can use time limits again! So happy. I know this was a remaster of an old game, but going forward they really should give players a choice. Also multiple endings! I've missed them so. 🧪
Before you buy the asian physical version, be aware that you might need an asian eshop account if you are interested in the DLC. The asian physical game of Etrian Odyssey HD was not compatible with DLCs from western eshops and this might happen here too.
@@CAiNiAC there ist the digital deluxe upgrade which includes the classic version of the game, this alone is worth it. It wouldn't hurt to wait until someone confirms that the western dlc is compatible. I might ediit my comment once I see a confirmation.
As far as I can tell there's no collectors edition available with English? Real shame if so as I really want a physical copy of the PS2 port too. Oh well, I might just order the standard edition with your link and then try to track down an original PS2 copy to pair with it instead.
Oooooh!!! If anyone’s interested I “think” the DLC on the eShop (my region being NA) works fine with the East Asian copy. There’s no in-game option to purchase the DLC, but I did download the FREE Legacy BGM as well as the 25th Anniversary Shades accessory just to test it out AND to my amazement they actually work with the game making me think the Delixe Edition Upgrade SHOULD work as well 🎉 Has anyone tested that out yet?
gonna pass screw the time limit and yeah I know you can turn it off like stated in the video but the game is still made with the time limit in mind which effects gameplay and how the game is designed
I was gonna order this from play-asia, but after hearing how short it is Im getting seconds thoughts. With the price, tax and shipping its almost 70 dollar and then I at least want 20+ hours out of it and not 5.
I can't 100% verify, but I'm mildly confident you can get the deluxe upgrade with a physical cart. If the cart is like Koei's other South Asian releases, it should be compatible with the EU/NA eShop.
The start menu mentions certain events won't happen in Unlimited Time mode.. I spent the last couple hours trying to find any information on what events are these to help me decide which mode to play (I really don't like pressure and got the game after a friend told me it's chill and cozy) Does anyone have any information that might help?🙏🏼
I don't think I'm brave enough to spend $50 on a game that barely pushes 10 hours. Modern atelier games have spoiled me super bad. Not even counting the ryza series which spoiled me even more, lol.
The game is meant to be played through multiple times. It's 10 hours roughly per play through and there are 7 endings to get. 10 x 7 is a 70 hour adventure and I think that's worth full price.
@@champdancer19 Not to be a downer but I don't think anyone want to play the same game seven times for a couple of different endings. Maybe it's possible to spice up each run but as it sounds like a pretty simple game and I wonder how much variation you would get from playing it multiple times.
BUT its technically possible to get the ending REQUIREMENTS For MOST of the 7 on a 1st run of the game but for the Bad/worst ending the easiest way to get that one is to sleep in your own bad in your Atelier until the game ends without doing ANYTHING at all.
It’s kind of painful to purchase it physically, especially since the trilogy games costs double for the price of 3 games but thus is the life of a physical Atelier/Gust games collector 🥲
🧴Nice enough looking game but £50ish for 6 hours and probably only minor differences for different endings? Seems a bit much to me, more like something that should be £35 tops.
