Never finished it on vita. Now thinking about getting it on sale for Switch. The game had a special mood and the best Intro of all Atelier games i know.
Escha and Logy is by far my favourite game of the series and the only game where I overpowered my characters and beat all the DLC bosses and final boss at lv 99. I mostly bought it for Logy, and because he is this game, that’s pretty much the only reason I want this too
This is my 1st video of your I've watched but do you always put in how long it took you to beat a game somewhere in the video? That's super good information to know and I never see any other reviewer do that!!!
Yeah. I try to always put that info in as I browsed handheld message boards a lot back in the DS/PSP era and it seemed to be a pretty commonly sought after bit of info on new games.
I've never played any of the Atelier games, but feel drawn to this one, i just love the visuals. Do you think I would be really missing out if i skipped the first two dusk games and just dived into this one? I'd rather not play the first two if i dont have to. Great, informative review!
You would be missing a lot. Since a lot of the characters are returning from the previous games, you wouldn't see/understand their development, or how their story links to this one so a lot of scenes wouldn't be of interest to you. However, the game's story is understandable by itself and they will explain the parts from previous episodes you need, so you could give it a try.
It doesn’t have a release date yet but The House in Fata Morgana: Dream of the Revenants Edition is in the process of being ported over to the Switch, which is a great gothic horror VN. Fureraba: Friend to Lover was also recently announced to be in development for the west, which is supposed to be a Romantic Comedy VN. Once again we don’t know a release date yet. We just know it’s in the process of being ported over.
i can't not buy this one. Actually playing it on pc atm with lotte, downloading switch rn to play stera as well on the side. oops also already got ps3, psvita, and ps4 version.
I was so excited about the PS3 version when it came out at the height of my Stelier fandom but I ended up not liking it much. The idea of no time limit was great on paper but in reality I preferred the games with a time limit but that was not so strict as in for example Totari. That is why Rorona Plus and Escha and Lodgy are my favorites. I have tried getting into the mystery games but I just don't have the same love for the series anymore. I still think Lulua and Ryza seems cool but I don't feel the need to play them since I couldn't bring myself to play the mystery trilogy.
