ATEM Television Studio HD8 and HD8 ISO - Overview, features and thoughts 

Thank you for this super well made video, as always. We are spoiled having RU-vidrs like you explaining this to us. What I absolutely love from the ATEM mini extreme iso, is the video out feature. Would be great to temporarily full screen an input on the multiview monitor to check focus on these panels as well I hesitated buying the ISO in December, when pricing was super sharp. Should have bought it... 2600 EUR exc. Vat.... I do not completely follow with all-SDI making sense. I would like 2 HDMI in (a laptop as source is very common these days😅), and one program HDMI Out. As HDMI fiber cables are super cheap these days and longer HDMI lengths therefore more common, I think they should have included some. I like that at least the multiview had HDMI

SRT, better audio routing, 12G and 2 M/E would be great additions / options. You make very valid points, that you wouldn't want to rely on it solely for video, streaming and audio in a typical production. It is a great step up with the audio and camera control, built in screens, Ethernet switch, etc. Is the media pool retained when powered off?

Great vidéo! Could you make a video about the four upstream keys? I don't understand how to use them especially because this atem has only 2 media players and not 4....

Is the 3rd row of buttons for macros only, or is it also used with preview buttons as a select bus?? Or is assigning source to Keyer / Transition types completely done in the Settings display??

would you use it on like a sports event with 4-5 cameras? if so how would you do the instant playback or "replay" on this lets say after a goal ....

Good information. What hdmi to sdi do you suggest for the best result? Also HD vs ISO the big difference is ISO is streaming vs not . correct?

Is this console suited for a in person conference with a livestream? Showing two different things? Or would that be better suited for a 2 m/e setup?

Is the Aux the mix engines? Is this 2 M/E?

TBH, now I know why ATEM only do SDI only, not mix and match the HDMI & SDI. but, I wish the had done like Osee GoStream Duet. Maybe not all input. Maybe 2 of the input 7 & 8 Have bi-directional HDMI IN + SDI IN/OUT. 2 extra hdmi input is enough for small event

So the SDI output are for PGM only ? I can't output any signal I want ? I mean like what a video hub does, output any input.

I must be stupid. Is there a reason why the system control buttons aren't working? When I click them, they don't respond. However, when I click any of the program, downstream, transition, audio, etc. keys, they all work. Any help would be awesome!

Come up off the Atem pins bro!! We just got one of these a month ago. Is it possible there will be a update to make the 8 outputs routable?

Blackmagic made large surface but did not kept spacing in buttons especially in switching buttons. They kept space in ATEM mini lineup but not in this pro level switcher which is strange.
