Ooh, I absolutely love this new AU take you did of the final duel of the Doma Arc! I can picture it now: Dartz brings out Yugi's soul to fight against Atem (referencing how Dartz used "Mirror Knight Calling" to force Atem and Kaiba to fight against Yugi, Joey, Mai, and Pegasus' soul). The duel would play out like the last time the two squared off, only this time, Yugi would be completely under Dartz's control, and Atem would have to square off against his best friend once again and relive his guilt of betraying him. However, he remembers his previous duel and faces his demons, freeing the three Legendary Knights, destroying the Seal, and freeing Yugi's soul from Dartz's control and returning to his body. Dartz, refusing to give up, continues the duel in Yugi's place, using Yugi's field and Graveyard, but playing with his deck instead, using Shunoros and Geh as his last resorts, only for the newly reformed strength of Yugi, Atem, and the Legendary Knights to put an end to Dartz once and for all! Not only that, but you managed to make Orichalcos Shunoros' sucky OCG work using Yugi's deck (with Normal Monsters) to do so! Brilliant!!! ✨✨✨
Yeah this kind of my idea. Timaeus destroys the seal and Dartz's hold over Yugi but takes over the duel following the destruction of Dark Magician. The one thing that bugs me about this duel is the timing for Critus' effect. When it's attacked, you can set a trap from your GY but it can't be activated in response to that attack. Would have loved to use Relay Soul here like in the anime

Had you been able to use Relay Soul that way, you could've brought out Dark Magician Girl like Atem did in the anime, then we'd have Atem and Dark Magician Girl vs. Possessed!Yugi and Dark Magician! X333 (And the Dark Magician that Possessed!Yugi had could've also been the Arkana version, since Atem still had the original, and that could've reflected how Yugi wasn't himself by not playing with his own Dark Magician) But regardless, the duel still turned out great! MAD respect for being able to have an accurate Dartz duel with the only 4 cards we have from him that would've perfectly fit into the anime!
Awesome work. I think the only duel from this arc you didn’t recreate was Joey vs Valon but sadly his deck still doesn’t exist. Think we could see Rafael vs Mai for their off screen duel? Would be interesting to know which one used the Seal of Orichalcos.
We still need a proper Atem vs Dartz Duel. Maybe you can use the cards from his legacy of the duelist deck or just use cards with similar effects to the anime ones
Is there any logical explanation why Dartz have Yugi's deck? This makes zero sense at all and don't get me wrong i am not hating i just don't understand
Check the video description. I've seen people requesting a Dartz vs Yugi deck and it is impossible to do it remotely accurate. So a corrupted yugi deck. Sort of Atem facing the darkness kinda vibe works
