With everything they're stripping away, $250 isn't enough of a discount. If you've been waiting this long to get a machine, you might as well wait a little longer to save up for the standard version.
Thank you for your videos and reviews. They are always very informative. I just ordered The Addams Family starter last night and am excited to receive it. I don't mind not having all the preloaded games. I'd rather pick my own games and add them later than get a bunch of tables I don't know and probably wouldn't play. As far as the topper goes, if I decide I want it, I can always buy it and install it myself later. I do see myself buying the SSF kit more sooner than later, and have no fear of installing it myself.
The standard version was $1099, and they jacked it up to $1499.99. But now you can get it back to $1099 by giving up the topper, all the standard features, 15 tables, and it'll take a month to ship? Yeah, I'll pass.
The new Pinball program, unless you're a big store clueless buyer, or really, just want a single game, it's really foolish to buy, in the end it will probably still cost you extra just in shipping alone as you add to it. Now, if you do the direct shipping and save the "actual" $150, then that "might" be a feasible option for those wanting to save money in the beginning. 😂
