No. We all face the same potential consequences - either extreme good or extreme bad. As such, considering we all want the best for ourselves, it is contingent upon each individual to have the best argument possible to justify their position, I would say even especially the ones who are choosing instant gratification to live as they like in this life, gambling facing terrible consequences later, and forfeiting the paradise easily available to them. Such a person better be very sure of themselves, have absolute proof. God reveals himself tangibly to any person who sincerely wants him, as is his promise. It's never an issue of proof, it's an issue of want, the bias in each one of us that determines which way we go with the evidence readily available around us. With that evidence, and a heart that sincerely desires truth, a person is willing to receive that salvation, accept Jesus for who he is, and in that receive the proof that God is.

Christianity is not the Truth, it is a belief, which is the opposite of the Truth. Truth is objective, not subjective. @@whichgodistrue2004 "Indoctrined" is not the right word to use. You cannot force anyone to join a faith, and it is their choice. It is Biblical to teach your children in the way, if that is what you are asking. It is the parents job to guide them in life the best they can so that hopefully they can make the right decisions themselves when they get older. That goes for parenting in general. Salvation is a choice, so "Indoctrined" is not an appropriate word to use. Anyone can be a Christian without being "taught" to be one, but you can't even "teach" someone to be a Christian, only show them the Bible and let them make their own decisions, as well as pray for them. Any other person that has a faith will do the same, to raise them in their faith. May I ask what is your point in this?

@@whichgodistrue2004 being taught of a religion as a child is no different than being taught one as an adult. A parent raises a child to have morals and they can still change later on in life. The point is to raise them the best you can and they can make their own choices later on. Not every Christian has Christian parents and the same goes for other faiths. My parents are not Christian yet I am. I know someone that is a Christian yet they have Muslim parents. It is their choice, so saying they are forced to be in that faith because their parents are is not true.

They grow up, take the information they know, study it, and make the choice to follow or to fall away. A person could be raised Catholic and only know that, but come to read the Bible when they are older and choose to convert to Protestantism. People's brains change as they age, and so do their personalities and how they view life. They develop their own personalities capable of making their own decisions. Saying someone is brainwashed for growing up in a faith is like saying they were brainwashed for their parents raising them to have morals. Cults are a completely different subject

And yet Ray tells us that as long as we 'repent our sins and trust in Christ we will be saved', essentially the same message in slightly differing words. Like the Catholic church Ray puts no time limit on this 'trust' , so George's example of Hitler being saved by a deathbed conversion is not so different from Rays.

He needs no saving since there is no afterlife to worry about.

He leads up to it with a statement about The Lord being a teacher from God etc,but we never actually get to hear what he originally was going to ask because the Lord "interjects" ,cuts to the chase and tells him that he must be born again etc. That was really the point I was trying to make 🙂👍 Eternity is so big and the never dying soul,well never dying,that at times one has to cut straight to the chase and at least attempt to get to the point as swiftly as possible. It can be the case that even when you bear with and listen to folk (which as I say is mostly always a good thing) sometimes they reject the truth or your approach to it & still don't listen because in God's Sovereignty He decides to leave it that way that day and perhaps forever - but all you can do is try to explain the reality of a very unpalatable truth to most men - The Gospel That's not to say we just ride rough shod over people,but sometimes we don't have the luxury of time & sometimes we get it wrong being human etc. A surgeon sometimes doesn't have the luxury of prettying up thr surrounding flesh in a cancer operation - to save the man's life he has to just take the scalpel and cut away every piece of the cancer which may well leave a number of scars or mutilation and all that before the patient awakes - I do believe that Ray was attempting to do just that,though it was a tough day in the office for him and indeed it will be an eternally tough day for the the gent who he was witnessing to unless he repents and trusts in Christ. I guess you have to exercise Ray's calling for the years that he has to know how hard it can be - hell or heaven can become very very weighty day after day 🙂👍

You read the old testament. Then the new testament is Jesus showing ppl the correct way to God and how to obey God. Satan got you mixed up too like he has so many, aside, they don't even want to try to live this tiny spec of time on this earth as believers and faithful to be with him forever, eternity ...Heaven on earth was God's intent. Satan disrupted that and Adam n Eve fell for it too giving Satan Domaine over earth that God have Adam, who traded it for knowledge damning us all.. It's how Satan inherited the earth and controls it. Jesus came and gave us a way out. I'm so sorry to hear that you think His is evil. Read Isaiah 5:20. This saddens me.. . I'm never even sure why people argue or get mad about this. God wants everyone in his company, we should want the same. I don't care if somebody figures it out in the last second of their life. When Satan loses we win. I still think Satan's best trick is to make people think nothing is real outside of the earthly realm.

I have a friend who is atheist and another who described himself as agnostic atheist which we both agreed is just agnostic. The second one I feel I may have planted the seed with, but I don’t know if I can get through to the first. He lost his sister at a young age and I can understand where he is coming from and sympathize without agreeing with him. He is currently trying to get his PhD in physics so very intelligent in that respect, but very ignorant when it comes to religion. How did you learn about Jesus’ love? I feel like if I try to explain that to him, he’ll just reject it.

@@KamiNoRanger99 lol well.....my testimony is a rather dramatic one but ill try to sum it up without a novel. My non-belief in GOD started at I would say 8 yrs old. I was in an abusive house to keep it short. I used to pray to GOD to save me from there. He never did. At 8 yrs old I started smoking pot and ciggarettes regularly. My step father had the pot and they both smoked ciggarettes so, easy pickings. I lived my entire youth high on something always. Weed, alcohol, pills, lsd, ecstasy, cocaine, crack you name it. I got into DJng at 18 and was in the clubs alot. Got busted one night for trafficking ecstasy because I was carrying alot. Went to prison for a yr and some change. Got out and was still a dumbo. Got onto crack again real bad. During that time I qas building PCs and stuff and AOL was still very active. Met a girl, stopped immediately smoking crack to be with her. Had a son, found out what love was. Best feeling ever. Was stay at home dad for 4 yrs and girl cheated on me so I made the hardest decision I've had to ever make in life. Leaving my son. I did that and I fell into a deep depression that last about 10yrs. Was into drugs, sex, women and finally met another woman whom I thought was awesome, but..... here we are a few months back and all I wanted to do was die for 2 or 3 yrs prior to that. My thoughts were consumed with it. Why? Because I had NO PURPOSE. Without him there is zero purpose to live. Anyways, one night I was at my weakest time ever and I cried out "Jesus! If you are real then come save me from myself please!?", and in one single instant, like a flash, all that pain and suffering I had felt my entire life was gone!!! I cried so much I cod have filled a tub probably. I thanked Jesus Christ for saving me and making that life long pain go away. I wasn't lonely anymore, I was depressed, I was filled with hate and anger. He took it all away. Since that day I have been on fire for the LORD. I am getting baptised finally this Sunday, May 7th 2023 and all the rest of my bad habits are out the door for good! I'm committing my life to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the one true king of all kings, my king, my GOD! There is far more to it but that's the basics.
