It was Greece who found democracy and who feed this world with culture like arts, science, history, philosophy and peace. This Olympic Games were the most touching and the opening ceremony was the best I have ever seen!

Greece, for such a small population, had SO MANY extremely charismatic and uniquely sounding voices.

Simply outstanding nothing can compare. Technology will never be able to duplicate the true meaning of the Olympics . Long live the Greek Olympics!

I love the recurring themes, the blending of different time periods, the references to the ancient and modern Greek culture, everything was so nicely executed. A multi-layered masterpiece.

The way that Athens 2004 did the flame extinguishing process was a masterpiece . It was like they were sharing the flame with everyone and in a way a form of their ritual with the games with everyone . It was really in my view the most beautiful part of the whole ceremony for me . This is to the Opening and Closing Ceremony of these games . To see the things only found in words in a history book or something about the Olympics or Greece itself coming to living color like that moved me like the whole time .

Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to spectate the 2004 Olympic Games since I was born that year but this gives me goose bumps and stirs many emotions. I hope one day the Olympics will re-return to their home.

So vibrant, envigorating and joyful, and a majestic approach of greek folk and pop culture for all of us foreigners as well. One of my absolute favorites :)

My God finally, i remember watching Opening and Closing Ceremony in RU-vid in 2006 recorded with a potato or something like that, now watching this on my SmartTV in HD is a blessing, this should be available for every human on Earth, this is humanity at it's best.

Just having a little nostalgia for those moments!! Moments that will not back. But thank God, we can enjoy them once and again.
