Everything is great in ather except two things...1st belt noise is totally irritating..2nd..milege should be like...180 TO 200 km in real world range..not IDC range...if ather owner change this two things...i am telling you there will be no EV scooter in the market like ather....mark my words...

I decided to buy Rizta but after saw few videos and reviews i don't know i am confused , there are few major issues in this company 1. base model cost 1.27L and they didn't provide a footrest which is provide by every normal or ev scooter 2. Only 3 year warranty ( others 5 years, 8 years) 3. those who bought 450x they have changed every part of the scooter in 2 year, parts are not sustainable 4. Screen is lagging and its not only happens is old varient even in new scooter they didnt fix it 5. Takes 8.5 hours to charge when we charge it when we ride it . 6. Most annoying thing is after paying a high amount they charge a lot in their servicing and didnt provide a free servicing then why we buy your scooter, neither its value for money neither sustainable only thing is its does not need petrol.

I just bought my ether scooter four days ago. So far I have driven 300 kms. Presently the scooter belt is making noise, when I asked why this noise is coming, they said that they have to remove and repair it, what should I do? Rightly said, we will likely replace the scooter in a few years, BUT what will be the resale value we will get for electric scooter. I sold the Honda activa3g model for 42k rs after using it for 8 years, which I purchased for 63k rs. Price drop of only 35%. Will the electric scooter have so much resale value
Exactly after 1 year running 10k Km (second service), found SoH (State of Health) of battery to be 93%. Is it normal to have 7 % degradation in just 1 year/10k Km ?
Depends on the temperature, how aggressively you ride, how much fast charging you use, but that's a lot of degradation. If you have a 450x you can get the battery replacement under warranty if the SoH falls below 70% which it probably will looking at the degradation.
As far as I know, Ather says that the battery degrades by 3-5% every year and an extra 1% every 10k km. But in reality, the degradation is much less than what they claimed.
I own the pro version of ATHER with connectivity features and I have been sensing an issue that charge percentage drops when the EV is idle ....( both pre & post charging ) And sometimes even more than 6% Which i think is not normal for a 3 month old EV!!
@@WhatifindiaclipsIt's normal. The battery drops roughly 3-4% overnight when idle. If you don't plan to use your vehicle for a long time, shut it down and the soc will not fall as much. Don't do it regularly though. Btw I also own a 450x pro pack. It's been 4 months and I have ridden it 2500 kms and the experience is great so far.
Test it by charging full again. This time after full charge do not turn your key off keep it on and observe for five to ten minutes. If the charge drops very fast within 5 to 10 minutes contact customer care to address your issue.

Is that shelf life or battery operational life. Because most batteries have cycle life and it depends on how the user is charging their batteries. The graph you showed does it assume that the battery only cycles 1 time a day (I.e. 0 to 100%)?

A degradation of battery by less than 4% in a 24-hour span is expected as during Key off, our vehicles enter a sleep state (not completely off) to keep communicating key status updates to mobile apps. This uses some power, leading to a slight SoC drop. Do let us know if you need any other help!
Ather should focus on 3 things Basic ather model price should be 90 to 95k with real range of 170-180 km and 120k range atleast 220 km range..Faster charge below 2 hour at any charger... Ather need stable technology and solve any minute issue of technology.. We want you invest more on R & D and deploy 2 to 3 product range for future.. Make sure it is very aggressive on new design new more range and agile while develop new range with more than 200 km range

I hope whatever explained by Tarun is trash. I purchased Ather 450x gen2 in Sep 2021. I have used the vehicle mostly in Eco, Ride modes and rarely used other modes. Coming to charging I use both Dot charger and fast charging provided Ather. As per monthly ride logs sent by Ather, all the two years I'm an efficient rider and efficiency is 27wh/km. Now the problem is battery health degraded by 28% where if I travel 3km on the road, the range is decreasing by 10kms. If I keep the vehicle unused for 15hrs, range is dropping by 10 kms. Ather Hyderabad Jubilee hills service center is disastrous. When I approached them for a battery replacement as promised during the purchase, they were asking me to handover the vehicle and it may take 30 working days for rework(not the battery replacement). Based on percentage of damaged cell count they may replace or rework. If count is more replace is possible other wise reworked battery will given back. After rework there is no guarantee provided. Finally I remind you that I'm not a person who depends on this 450x for example Zomato or swiggy delivery representative/ Uber, rapido, ola etc. But the service center blames me I have used it like a Zomato rep.

I'm from middle class and I love ather and happy to see 450s in my budget for daily commute, only one humble request please instead of warp mode kindly provide a charger which can charge this in 5hours instead of 9hours. If you do this iam sure sales will also increase or else people are moving to chetak in same price with awesome build quality

If we using ather grid charging per mint 1 is high because if 80% of charging takes 50 minutes approx so 50 rupees + 18% gst so it's not value for money so change the decision amount charged per kwh is the right decision just consider this poit
Then get it replaced. They will do it for free. Also did you leave the scooter at a low soc for a long time? Because it is extremely unlikely that the battery would completely die in just 2 years.

They gonna do rework on under performing battery, no replacement and so pls dont keep a hope. If reworked battery also fails to perfrom well, then battery replacement will haappen on a condition that within 3 or 5 year warranty period only. Rework on battery is done when ur at end of 3 or 5 year warranty period. After warranty period expiry if u face any problem with reworked battery you have bear entire amount for new battery 60k-70k. Rework is not at all transparent and we dont know rework process that they perform on battery. Ather to avoid the cost of battery replacement using the term rework and maybe adjusting some cells in the battery to perform well for next 1-2 years so that customers warranty period will get over by the time they notice underperfomance of reworked battry. BEAWARE OF THIS FRADULENT ACTIVITY which I'm facing it roght now.

It is a useless product; it ran for 45000 km, and battery power became 30% down within two years, as per the company claim, it will run for 85km in single-chrge eco mode. But after degradation battery, singal charge running is 60km. 10km less if ride including a pillion, and more less KM during winters. I went to the Ather work shop. I told them about my problem, and They checked battery, which was imbalanced after repair. The same problem arose when I visited again, and they checked the battery, which had degraded by 30%. Ather denied for replacement. The battery's cost is ninety thousand

Plus I already mentioned that I have purchased a scooter. Literally if someone needs to write a complain , it should be you to the this incompetent sales team of yours at puducherry. Your Hotel like ambience model inside a scooter showroom is a total fail , you don't even have a front desk. You should hear my recordings from the customercare team , and I have also given my Google reviews. My scooter ran only for 11000 kms. I asked the reason for battery failed with just 11000kms. I've been asking for answer for last 3months. Issue is not resolved yet. I am still fighting. My scooter is still with service centre for the last 3 months
