the shove was necessary because the libero was in her way for her approach to hit a 2 ball, ik teammates have told me and ive told teammates to shove me out of the way to make a play if needed i dont think it was ill intended :)
It was a little bit mean, but it definitely wasn’t personal, you probably stressed out but she didn’t touch her. She probably would’ve lost the point so it wasn’t necessary.
And she was in the way of her transitioning to middle whether was mean or not she got the point would be worse if she was too worried about pleasing her then to push her and they lost point
I don’t like Harper Murray and this cemented it for me. She’s just standing upright, not even trying. Tipping and rolling doing lazy shots and not respecting her teammates nor the competition. The way she shoved her teammate out of the way. So arrogant like she’s too good for that gym and they should all be glad she’s even there. Chloe Chicoine should be getting all the hype, she’s 5’10 but hits (in my opinion) much better than Harper, with better athleticism and more aggression. Instead we get this.
tipping and rolling can still get points volleyball is not all about power and sometimes when your teammate is in the way you shove them so you can get the ball .the person she shoved was a libero so she took the ball and got the point that is what most or all coaches want
Maybe because there's no competition on the other side, if there was competition she would not be doing all this, i do this sometimes when i'm playing easy teams, She knows how good. and Chloe Chicoine is not better hitter than Harper, harper is way athletic and more aggressive than chloe. Realistically she is too good for that gym, because that ended her up in the 1# team in Nebraska as a freshmen destroying seniors and juniors.
