Observing sport specific nutrition practice is of utmost importance particularly for catch weight sports such as Taekwondo. The design of the program should be a balance of weight maintenance and increasing lean mass which promotes explosiveness in kicks. Peri-workout fuelling is also important to sustain the athlete during exercise and to recover efficiently for the next training session.
Taewondo athletes should not worry about making their weight long before the competition. Having a comprehensive nutrition program eliminates this anxiety among athletes so they can focus instead on getting better during training.

I practiced taekwondo for two years until I realized that this wont help me in a real fight. So I switched to boxing and Im glad I did so. I wish I had never joined taekwondo instead i should've choose grappling or muay thai at that time.

I mean sure martial arts helps us defend ourselves IF we can't avoid a fight, but if you just do martial arts cuz you think every person around you will attack you, you might have paranoia or you do it just for FIGHTING other people that don't know how to fight then stop doing it

You don't have to do TKD if you believe it's not effective, but atleast keep the useful stuff that will help in any fight like the Back Kick,Spinning Hook kick, just some of the kicks in General Everything that you learned will be useful

ng dahil sa point system wala ng kwenta tingan mo sparring walang ka latoy2 panahon namin pag dating sa sparring di ganito gusto namin ma knock out kalaban dahil sa lakas ng sipa mas gusto ko yong old school na taekwondo
