Pretty big oof moment when Martin is able to get all those tokens out the turn after a board wipe resolves . I’d hope to have another just in case or just scoop at the end of the turn .

Wow people were saying new Athreos is too slow..of course stealing the Nyxbloom helped, but I think the commander is a lot stronger than I initially thought

double up them triggers with harmonicon, rings, resonator and teysa.... My friends hated when throne of Eldrain released, they hated it even more when I got my hands on the new Athrios:) Any slow commander can be stronk if you find a way to abuse something.

Andrew, keep in mind that getting the treasure with Smothering Tithe is mandatory if the opponent forgets to pay, so if you remember later, you can still claim your prizes.

I maintain it's the fault of the tithe owner to remind people to pay. Frustrates me so much when i haven't even drawn my card and my buddies go "R U GuNnA PaE", but if it's YOUR card YOU should have to remember to ask people if they pay, it's unfair to the player that doesn't even control the trigger to later say they didn't pay if they weren't aware, especially given how much new information can be revealed after even 1 spell has been cast into a turn, so much can change. Not trying to take shots, just my 2c. Impetus always sticks with the owner of the card, your opponents shouldn't have to play the game for you.

When Max cast Austere Command and chose all artifacts he didn't bin his Altar of the Pantheon.... It didn't affect the game much since he only got one turn of play after that but it was worth mentioning.

Crazy game with 3 decks popping off. Feel bad for Max, but sometimes you just bring a tree branch to a chainsaw fight. New Athreos seems even more powerful than I thought.

Fun game! Just so you know you need to have the right amount of life to '"pay" it like athreos trigger, you can't choose to die sadly. Do you know if max's god deck is somewhere on twitter or Instagram? I would love to look at his alters from closer. :)

That game would have been very different if you had remembered the double tokens. You could have used Visera Seer to exile recruiter and had 2 come in with double triggers. You could have sacrificed Nyxbloom to get 2 tokens, while returning the original

Between doubling the treasure tokens you would have had and tutoring for 4 instead of 2 toughness 2 or less creatures off of Recruiter of the Guard I wonder if you could have won the game?

Whait, what? 18:12 how did paralax wave get afected by doubling season. Doubling season was under Martin's control and it only afects the player that controls it.

For 15:32, shouldn’t the second trigger be for only 14, since Nick is dead? Or is Nick somehow still in the game at -6 life, and only dies after both triggers resolve?

Correct! Primal Vigor, however, does affect all players. I did make a mistake with the Parallax Wave though.

4:45 no, I don’t think corpsejack works like that. Corpsejack triggers when counters are put on a creature, Polukranos *enters with* 6 x +1/+1 counters. There are never any counters that are “put on” polukranos
