Saturday January 27th & Sunday January 28th, 2024:
This time of year in Atlanta is often gray & rainy - less than ideal conditions for a visit to the world's busiest airport. Nevertheless, we try our best to operate in it, and by "we" I mean "I". This particular episode features a battle against the ever-present threat of lens splatter as well as takeoff & thrust reverser spray. Even more interesting was the presence of a government-chartered Eastern 777 traveling back & forth between ATL & El Paso/Ft. Bliss. At the time it was assumed that soldiers were on board. But I have since learned that the occupants were more than likely illegal immigrants/illegal aliens/undocumented foreigners (whichever term you find less offensive - I don't care). But don't worry about the border! Our dementia-ridden President has the situation well at hand!
