SURPRISE 🎊 I got very lucky when I got you, I was hesitating between a Kyoru edit or something with ATLA but then I saw you both had Furuba + ATLA in your favorite fandoms and I thought this song was perfect for some of the main themes of both shows (family/found family, acceptance and bonds, let it be dysfuntional ones or not).
I hope you enjoy my gift!

So I don't often make multifandoms edits but it was great to work on this project! I really enjoyed making the Zuko/Iroh & Kyo/Kazuma son-father parallels and the Katara/Tohru parallels with their loss of their mothers and why they act motherly... I also had Akito/Azula parallels in mind but they couldn't fit in the video so maybe I'll use them in a future multifandom edit!

This is the BEST gift, thank you so much for this 😭 so much work and thought put into this for an incredibly touching result. You absolutely NAILED exactly why both of these shows are among my favourites and you chose a perfect song to do it, giving it that bittersweet vibe that is so yummy to me but also comforting. I never would have thought that someone would get the idea of combining the two, which makes it a great surprise but also a very original and smart video. And the editing of course is on point for a maximum of emotions. I am so happy I got you as my Secret Santa and couldn't have hoped for a better video (and perfectly timed too, a very good way to start my day). Merci infiniment pour ce travail magnifique, je vais la regarder encore et encore et encore !!! (Et probablement commenter d'autres choses au fil des visionnages 😂)

I thought this song showcases well the angst and the comfort that bring the bonds in both shows, along with the desire of full love and acceptance! Once I saw both shows among your favorite ones, I started to think about possible parallels and once I started, the inspiration was there!
