@@Wonderliv After all, Atlanta is known as "The Big Peach" or I could refer it as "The New York of the South" because of dozens of high-rise office buildings and luxury condos.
@@Wonderliv Some of those Atlanta streets are familiar to me. It feels like that I know the city like the back of my hand. Atlanta is like my familiar territory.
@@fredmckinney3418 Crime has literally been going down in Atlanta since the nineties with a brief spike during the height of the pandemic. Got nothing against isolating and stockpiling weapons, but doing it because you think the perimeter is a warzone is positively insane.
This was so kool. I was with you about 90% of the time then you lost me about 3 times. I've been living here in Atlanta over 30 yrs and couple places i was totally lost then recognized a land mark or a street sign and I was like Oh!!!!! Ok I know where I'm at now. 😅 you drove pass my job and very close to where I live. So much has changed and it's constantly changing. Great vedio.
Best city I’ve lived in and love seeing how it’s progressed over the years. It is a boom town, as evidenced by the perpetual multitude of high-rise cranes. The ‘burbs of GA are not so great, but the ATL is rich in culture with many things to do and see. Food choices are vast, and I discovered a love for ‘Southern Food’ here. The art scene is tops, second only to LA but not yet like NY. I cherish the memories of many peek experiences I had in Terminus City now known as the ATL-
So Alpharetta, Cobb, Woodstock, Marietta, Smyrna, Sandy Springs are not great huh? Smh you either just moved to ATL and don’t know what you are talking about or lying.
Thank you for this, I have to make my first drive into Atlanta in a couple months and as a newer driver it makes me very anxious- but videos like these boost my confidence since I know what to expect :)
We lived there for over 10 years and keep coming back. It's changing a lot in many positive ways, there are lots of new places and people are usually friendly ;) A TOWN!
Best vid ever. Of course I am from Atlanta. I worked downtown for around 11 years. It sure has changed. I lived in mid town and Buckhead for several years. Absolutely loved it except for the crime and worst of all the traffic. You were really smart to do this on a weekend. Many of the housed you passed in mid-town looked like they might be word 200k or so really might be 750k up. Many of the old houses in mid-town were built in the 1940s. Everything in the city is sky high price wise. Except for the hoods of course.
I love this video I am enjoying looking at it, It make me feel like I am traveling, You are doing a wonderful Job. I been in atlanta 53 years, and there still parts I had not seen, with you I have Thank you!!!
I done been homeless in these streets. I done made thousands in these streets. I done fed the homeless in these streets. Shid I shed blood in these streets. Ima Grady baby Nah mean! Atlanta 4L! #Zone3
I hate sitting in traffic in Atlanta, but I will sit at my laptop and watch this video of Atlanta for an hour because I love this city so much, plus I'm not driving. (takes another sip)
Bank of America building on the left (brown building) at about 3:05. Tallest building in the state I believe. Last buildings of Techwood projects on the right at 5:20. Oldest public housing complex in the nation.
I go to Georgia state university in the Atlanta campus and the number of homeless ppl laying in the street is too much, the smell is so bad there and theses garbage on the ground. I love Atlanta but it really needs to step up its game just like every other American city.
Most definitely. Make sure you stay out of big crowds, but there are many places to hang out. Piedmont Park, we posted some videos of The Atlanta Beltline, Ponce City Market and Atlantic Station which all have plenty of open spaces. Have fun in the "A"
I have relatives that live there. It’s just way to many ladies there for me. That would get me into a whole lot of trouble. It be like a crack hard in a a buffet crack house.
Welcome to Atlanta where you have 7 lanes all filled with bumper to bumper traffic and all drivers faces illuminated by cellphones on the way to work at 7am
No one walks in Atlanta. The streets look deserted compared to places like San Fran, New York, and LA. must be afraid of mugging and shootings. No fun.
