@LockedOnHawks it close. But overall I can't wait to see hunts team def show in a lineup with Dyson and Risacher once he learns proper rotation. Also maybe we get strong 7ft anchor next year

@@vonkaiser3 Lol, Hunter's team defense efforts won't be noticeable unless his entitled attitude changes and he finds the motivation he's needed since he was drafted.

im pretty sure that AJ is very close to Jesus and thought that maybe the NBA would threaten that relationship. I totally respect it though, everyones calling is different

I'm not sure if your saying he's got a direct line to God or you mean something I'm not getting, but.... STOP IT, YOUR SCARING ME!!! I'm Christian, but that's crazy cult talk! God gave us gifts to use for his glory and he could use it as a platform.... pretty sure he's not listening to God if he's being told "quit"..... That aside... mental health is no joke, and that's likely what he's struggling with. Best wishes to you AJ, I've been there many times and currently dealing with it. It's a never ending battle that doesn't just "fix".

I think if you grew Trae 6-7 more inches tall that would be a legit argument as well... of course not sure how much better his defense would be having the same length arms only increasing height.... looking like a T-Rex on the court throwing 3pt floaters from half court....!! JK Trae! I'm a huge fan, had to make a joke outta this though. He'd be comparable to Magic or what Ben Simmons shoulda been with better shooting... think about it, Ben Simmons with a 3pt and foul shooting ability woulda been unbeatable a few years ago! It's a legit point... I'd also been the greatest if I'd been born black, 6'6", and wore the number 23 for the Chicago Bulls lol. It's all in fun.

I’m almost never gonna put a rookie on a “best 5 players” list before they play a game. I like him but will have to see it. He certainly might start and that would be fine with me. But that’s not a player ranking

Dyson gets the nod over Zach despite any skill for exp reasons alone. Zach hasn't faced 1st line NBA talent yet and mentally it's as much a battle as it will be physically, and that takes time in itself to be developed. If Zach comes out hot, maybe after the first 10 games he gets the nod, otherwise, I'd expect closer to midseason after he's seen more of what he can expect to face in the NBA along with how he's dealt with it. Also no shortage of how the teams doing success wise. Too little importance is put on players learning....it's not a video game. Sure some players are savants or generational, but most players thrown in too early and in the wrong situations are damaged and fail more than succeed and helped. I like ATL approach in that the past few years though it's not sexy for the All-Rookie team publicity.

you’ll be the only one that says this lol everyone else will be mad that i even brought him up (There has never been a time when Hunter has ever been better than Capela, for example)

@LockedOnHawks he's been better than Capella for the last 2 years. If we're doing an honest eval not discounting overall defense +offense, he's had a case for the 2nd best player over the last 2 years. If we completely ignore contracts.

I actually agree, bc Capela is essentially a one-way player, outside of lobs and rebounds. His scoring is attrocious. His free throw form is a joke and makes him unplayable at the end of close games (when he's needed most!). I cant even remember his passing, its not like he's trusted with the ball alot. So yeah, SKILLS-wise, Hunter is definitely better, but talking about actual value brought to the team, Capela is higher Edit: in fairness to CC, he is a great screener
