The amount of greenery, generally clean, beautiful streetlevel buildings design, the sunlight, makes Atlanta looks very beautiful. I like also that it is not flat, but the roads are curvy and hilly.

People from cities in the northeast, Chicago, San Francisco and whatever other city that has a lot of foot traffic will think Atlanta looks dead.

This video is taken downtown, most of the foot traffic in Atlanta is in midtown and East Beltline Trail. I visited San Francisco and Chicago a few months ago. San Francisco was dead (a lot of homeless though) besides around Fisherman's Wharf and Chinatown. Downtown was empty everywhere I walked. Chicago had a lot of people on the Magnificent Mile and Riverwalk but not many outside of these two areas.
