We are planning a family trip to Atlantis next year and the negative reviews freaked me out. Thanks for all of your information and tips, and for addressing some of those concerns head on.

This young couple gives me hope for their generation. So many times when we see people around their age they are the most annoying, rude, arrogant and entitled individuals walking the earth. These two are genuine, happy and a pleasure to listen to. I hope you both enjoy many, many more trips as you begin your life together. You deserve it.

If you book in the Harborside area , the units have a full kitchen , with fridge and stove( no oven), I recommend it if you go with kids!

We walk tbru marina village right off property there is a small store you can buy cokes and water. There is also a liquor store ;-) much cheaper and walking distance. There is also a good local restaurant in the same area off property that is a little cheaper.

I was there 4 days ago on a cruise. Took the boat over to Atlantis. All the gift shops were expensive so we didn’t buy anything. We had children with us so we went through the casino, had no problems. We brought tickets to the Aquarium. Waste of time and money. Cincinnati, Baltimore and Atlanta’s aquariums were way better. That gift shop was a joke. We caught a taxi back and got delicious food and drinks near the straw market. The locals were aggressive but very nice. You’re right, it was hit or miss.

Thanks for the information. I just was correct some of your information. The sea water in the Bahamas is the clearest in the world. It is crystsl clear most of the year. Your time, it was mirky most likely, which is normal certain times. Also The population of nassau is just under 300,000 (not a million) and entire Bahamas is about 400.

I thought they were brother and sister until the end of the video! 😆 Thought they went with their parents. They don’t look old enough to be married! Liked the review though! Great job!

Not a good idea to drink the water in the Bahamas. Use bottled water. I used to live in the Caribbean, and it was common for us to take antibiotics when going to the Bahamas just in case.

This video genuinely helped my boyfriend and I book our trip. We are going in May, we have watched this video at least 10 times lol. Like you, we booked through Atlantis and ordered our shuttle tickets with our package. The flights off the website for our dates were terrible so we wound up booking the flights through Expedia. If there’s any chance you rememeber filling out the vouchers... we are having some trouble. We have entered our flight and are required to put the information on our “arrival carrier” and “departure carrier”. This may seem like such a stupid question, but where do you find that information/ what does it mean. Just wanted to see if maybe you encountered the same thing or remembered any info specifically regarding the vouchers for the shuttle cause we are quite anxious. We were planning on contacting the agency we are flying through to ask them what it means but so far every time we’ve encountered a question, we’ve gained the most helpful information from this video compared to everyone we’ve spoken to so far. Thank you for taking the time to read :)

i give the waterpark a 2 for sheer lack of water activities and the fact half the slides are close and open on alternate days. lame. waste of $150.

The customer service is so bad that it should be illegal. Our suite was very run down and dirty. The food was border line horrible. I will say I had fun swimming but I can do that anywhere lol There is some beautiful scenery though. Although I wont ever go back because of the consistent poor customer service.
