dunno, but guess the part where it’s a fictional film and not based on a real story has something to do with it feeling like a film about giant mechs fighting almost and sometimes even more giant aliens from the ocean
They mention in a comic that atlas is just dense as fu its a training yeager thry cant afford to fix it every time somthing happens and without any real weapons all that space is used for armor and redundent systems
@@garyslayton8340Atlas was also built during the Jaeger 'Glory days' It may be a training jaeger now but it's a retired Mark 3, it was originally designed to kick kaiju ass, and in order to do that, it needs to have armor that can survive kaiju attacks, it may have had all it's weapons stripped but its armor is still there
@@garyslayton8340sorry but still this Jeager is ridiculously resistant in a way that screams plot armor. He was beaten so bad multiple times and barely get a scratch, he got multiple hits which just one would be enough to destroy a Jeager of the movies. Do you remember how fast the Jeager of the opening scene died? An acid kill bite his head then he died. Atlas had a stronger kaiju biting his head still nothing happened. I'm a fan of the Jeager but c'mon he's ridiculous
@@Lu1zF3l1pe well it not crimson have that much armor on it conpot compare to atlas and remember how gipsy got throw like a few kilometer by leather back and have nearly no damage ?
When pilots didnt see the movie: i know why training pilot bcs training pilot is weak When pilots see the movie: yep were using the training pilot Me: u guys are dumb arent you
