I played for a couple hours, if anything this taught me not to really buy new IP day 1. It’s not bad but the movement feels a bit off and the enemy design seems very similar so far…
I have been playing since last none of the complaints here are "game breaking " half of them i haven't even experienced. This game doesn't feel like forspoken it feels more like kingdoms of amalur and im loving every second .
As old school gamer and gaming through the ps2 and xbox 360 generations in my teen and adult years that i forgive the games from this studio. Atlas fallen is the closest game. I support these 7/10 AA games
@@popeyes17 I’ve seen trailers, looks interesting enough but don’t know too much about it, not a day one for me. Maybe wait and see, could be decent or could be a little generic with a magic gimmick.
@@thehitman781 that’s a good point as well, imagine they’d be a lot of souls fans looking at this but they have Lords of the Fallen, Remnant 2, Lies of P and AC6 since it’s FromSoft.
Saw the trailers and I knew this was going to be rough... It's a real shame because deck 13 actually have good and fun ideas (I loved Surge 2 combat for the most part) but, they always fumble some critical aspect of their games, in the end bringing the entire package crashing down. I might give this a go, as it's not that long when it's heavily, heavily discounted.
Criticis dont love it, which means its a MUST buy since yall hate everything. Yall are the same people to shit on a ubisoft game then go ahead and give zelda nearly perfect scores while having the literal SAME formula.
@@devonjames7999 thats 1 game. titalfall 2 is another, ok great thats 2. Compare that to Greedfall, gods will fall, godfall, atlas fallen, lords of the fallen 2014, Redfall. Babylons fall. Do you get it now?
rare to see a western dev do an action game with actually decent combat this one was sorely needed now that ubisoft cancelled the sequel to the one decent game they cooked in the past decade the major complaints ive heard is that there is little story and characters and that the gameplay is the best part which only means one thing, this game is a banger
Everyone in these comments are sheep sheep sheep . You let reviews decide what you are going to do with your life lmfao . I’m playing baldurs gate at the moment 80 hours in ….. and I’m still getting this game you know why ? Because I’m a gamer and I have fun with video games . I don’t let reviews sway what and what and what im not gonna buy . This generation doesn’t know a thing about having their own mind
Tellem, bro. This generation is soft as cotton candy. im not sure why every game these days has to be a 10/10 for it to be played. Im sure this game was just a game to have fun with not looking to be a masterpiece, smh.
@@shawnhanowell3050exactly !!! I had pages upon pages of games when I was little I had all the consoles ! Back then their wasn’t internet and all these reviews and shit like their is nowadays ! But guess what I played the games and had fun with the games and I still do the same thing till this day
@@Mohgenstein y’all’s favorite word .. don’t even know what the word means . I’m not coping about anything I’m telling the truth ! Pick up a dictionary
I pre-ordered it. Looks fun, gonna have a blast playing thru Coop with my son or best friend. I respect any dev that builds a game with coop in mind, and not that tacked on last-minute dev decision bs like some games. Lords of the Fallen is preordered and will most Def be played thru coop as well 😎👍
Also, the controls feel great. The axe-hammer feels slow and connects heavy. In contrast, the whip chain feels like you actually connecting with a whip or chain. This reviewer doesn't play games for enjoyment anymore, it's clearly just a job for him.
the game hast released yet, every game has weaknesses when it first releases. It not like we have a choice on how good our games are made, we just have to either play it like it, or go on to something else.
I play ever over/under-hyped new game, most of the time if a reviewer says boo that means I'll really enjoy it. 6 is absurd, considering i gave up on forspoken after 10 minutes, I've already hit 10 hrs on AF and I just got it today.
I expected more given how good the surge games were, i think going open-world was a bad decision, they should have kept it linear like the Surge games.
are you guys saying you wld take forespoken over this.. I think 6 is just too low. I would give this a 7, they can stll fix the jankiness with updates.
Was waiting for some reviews and gameply thought about getting this one. But know is a pass for me. I'll play at one point once is available in PS+ or is on sale.
@@mr.kwamid-86_43I heard is a short...Not much into FPS unless is Doom or COD. .I'm finishing D4 S1..and back to NG+ in other games until BG3 is released in PS5
@@MorrisseyMuse Yeah, and some people also say that the earth is flat as a pancake 😂 As a console peasant, I cannot wait to purchase BG3 for my PS5 even though I have clocked already 27 hours on the PC version 😂
@@Yakuuzy85 I want to get bg3 never played a game like it. I like the open world and rpg mechanics but I’m worried about gameplay you think they can move it to a controller layout smoothly?
@@Yurr24 Funny thing, I am playing with my controller on PC. Cannot get used to mouse and keyboard. They have done a damn good job with the controller interface 👏👍 Rest easy, grab the game, you will have no problems playing with a controller.
Got this today through early pre-order. Man i love the surge and was hyped for this, but im not going to lie this game is average as hell. It needed another 2 years easily. It's a shame cause it looks good and has some cool animations. If your thinking about buying this i would get it on sale, if you care about story in games then i would say don't bother as im 6 hours in and don't even know anyones names lmao
@@shifterzx Nice, sounds like a plan man. honestly can't speak for pc or xbox, but ps5 is pretty smooth. there's barely any noticable frame drops, very rarely when fighting a boss and he spawns minions. I don't think it can be fixed with updates as the issues are fundamental. That being said i will keep an on eye on it, if it gets better in the future i may rebuy it :)
@@thegrumpmaster7588 This is tough because difficulty is subjective. But no it's not souls like in terms of difficulty. Was playing on hard mode, and currently breezing through enemies, that being said im keeping my build up to date and haven't died once. Now this is also coming from the guy who played through remnant 2 on vet and only died a few times to bosses. If you compare it to elden ring or the dark souls 3, it's waaaayyyyyyyy easier. And with hard mode they're just upping damage of enemies, there is no change in behaviour or frequency of attacks (from what i can tell). So as long as you can parry or know to use eye frames, this really isn't an issue, and even when you do get hit, unless your not actively managing your build throughout the game, those hits aren't a huge deal. It honestly is more reminiscent of final fantasy 16 if you played that in terms of difficulty, but a bit easier Imo
I deleted the game off my ps5 bout 20 min in.. in began like an oldschool ps3 game lmaoo no sense of urgency etc... The Legend of Dragoon on ps1 had a better opening and attention grabber
@@BROOKLYNBORN1994 I do but there’s way better games atm to play such as BG3 and I’d rather spend my money on that maybe I’ll try it later when it’s on a sale and if have nothing else to play
@@Orionstar1111 I’m on act 3 in Baldurs gate . Games are always going to be Better than other games that’s just the way it works ! . I respect your decision I get it but I buy everything when it drops . I’ve returned 1 game this year . I don’t limit myself I enjoy everything . Just because one game is better than the other doesn’t mean your not gonna have a good time with the lesser game
That's what I try to tell some of my friends. I'm LOVING remnant 2 right now,but I'm also very much enjoying Atlas fallen as well I do not regret my purchase at all
So, it has "potential" but sucks currently. Since that's the same description of pretty much every game released in the last few years, it should be no surprise.
