I didn't use to be in the "show me gameplay or don't show me anything" bandwagon but I'm definitely hopping on it lately. I'm TIRED of concept cinematic trailers, they don't really tell me about the game and they tend to feel samey anyway. Thay don't add any value to me at this point.
@@sanda386 yeah that was definitely last gen marketing tactics, flashy cinematic trailers don’t have the same effect they once did. Now all we care about is gameplay
Greetings from a Greek Fella from UK played so many games but this got my atention look so hype for it also finally slowly we start watching True next gen Graphics.
I know its early, but I'm really liking the look of this game so far. The aesthetic is cool, the story is intriguing, and even though the gameplay we saw was brief, it still looked cool. I know its cool to hate on pre-rendered trailers now, but I'm someone who plays games just as much for the story as the gameplay, so I find these trailers every bit as useful as the gameplay trailers. Besides, it's still early and there's plenty of time for a gameplay trailer to be released. It's only when a game comes out in less than a month and we still have no idea how it even plays like (anyone else remember that Deadpool game by High Moon?) that we should get worried.
Yeah, they feel a bit anime goofy here. I dunno how to feel about them. If they are like finishers, than it's fine, but constantly swining around things that you supposedly have control over, but don't look like you do is just weird.
Its in the description "Target and gather the essence of your enemies to shape your own custom playstyle, forging a new era for humanity in a fully cooperative or solo story campaign."
@@BRNDMYR Ah, thanks, totally forgot to check the description! 😊 The gameplay shown was just so fast and short compared to the rest so I wasn't entirely sure, the other character could just have been an AI-controlled companion or something :)
I heard that there’s a cool Momentum system that will add more attacks during fights, with increased vulnerability to the player-character. With the pace of this gameplay, that sounds rather fun.
Thank You Focus Home Interactive for Making your games DRM-Free. I will support and try anything you release just on this principle alone. Want you to know that we DRM-Free gamers appreciate your efforts and continued respect for us. Thank You to Deck13 as well for continuing to make such masterpieces.
@@M340B58 one of the best examples of why DRM is terrible is what UbiSoft did recently. they announced that they would kill the servers for a bunch of games. and as a result, make some of them fully or partially unplayable. and then there is the fact that you don't own your games anymore all you have is a license.
@@ADMNtek so maybe the ask is, before doing something like shutting down game servers, please remove the DRM so we can continue to enjoy games even if we must play them offline.
@@M340B58 that would help but they won't do it. it also isn't the only issue. another fine example of DRM screwing players once again by darn Ubisoft is watchdogs legion that doesn't work properly using intel 12gen CPUs. because the DRM can't handle the smaller cores and Ubi doesn't seem to care.
😞I hope they do The Surge 3, I really love these games. I mean, there's no shortage of soulslike games nowadays, but as a Sci Fi fan times are hard and The Surge 2 was really awesome with an explorable city full of stuff to find. (Although The Surge 2 has shocking performance characteristics. RTX3080 TI, Cyberpunk never drops a single frame and Surge 2 not even on 4k with almost minimum details regularly has huge framedrops, wtf)
This games is remiding me alot of Kingdoms of Amalur, Monster Hunter World n Godfall n the game looks really good n promissing, wish this was getting a PS4 pro release though!
According to a german interview with a lead dev the coop is optional and the main focus will be the single player experience with a character creator. The game will also feature difficulty settings unlike in the surge games and structurally it will be less like dark souls and more like the Horizon games with a focus on kinda free exploration with optional challenges if you want to. Their core pillar to make this game was making an action rpg with abilities working around sand and the bending of it. Imo it looks nice and it's cool to see a german dev team actually improving to break their own boundaries unlike piranha bytes, who make the same game for 20 years now.
It looks like they drew inspiration from the Horizon series for the monsters. Also, the bigger character looks like a cross between Destiny and Death from "Darksiders".
Tava ansioso para ver novo jogo de vocês da Deck 13. Tomara que saia um gameplay ainda nessa Gamescom 2022. Um novo Lords of the Fallen também foi anunciado 😂
It looks unrealistically cool, it looks like Forspoken has a competitor :) I'm waiting for the game to be released:) Developers, please make a good game with an open world filled with an interesting plot - this way you will attract maximum interest in the project. By the way, I am glad that the game will also be released on PC.

@@Autentist If you're interested in more non-souls-like games from them, check out Venetica, it was their first foray into action-rpgs, and it still has a place in my heart :)
@@ambidex5383 I implied that because of the big beasts and the Steam page says 'Hunt legendary creatures alone or with a friend'. It gives me a Monster Hunter/Dauntless vibe, but it could be its own style of game.
