@@Gman7007I mean, I don't even know how I am able to do the running man. No clue whatsoever how my mind just makes my body do stuff by thinking it. Blows me away personally they've made a robot do it.
Robot be repeatedly mashing R3 while the respawn cam watches you getting violently tea bagged by Atlas in your last few seconds of life... That would not be a great way to go.
@wolfgangkoeppen52 no. The programmer programs every movement. Every dance , bounce, and placement. This isn't AI thinking for itself. AI doesn't get enjoyment so it won't fist pump after it places a strut. It won't dance to show humans it can because it doesn't care about impressing us. What ever school you are in has some bad teachers.
@@bocatcc it’s told to do a movement like that as a task, it still has to account for the balance and getting to the point it needs to. You can watch it hesitate to gain balance before it executes the dance task. No shit it doesn’t completely think on its own, what are you an American?
I don’t think people truly understand what a feat it is to have a robot pick up something without pre-programmed arm movements. It’s the reason we still don’t have machines that can fold clothes for us. This robot is mapping out the physical geometry of the strut, calculating where to pick it up from, making active changes to distribute its weight to counterbalance the weight of the strut, and is then placing it into a cubby which it also has to map out. Incredible.
its probably nowhere near that, its just some preprogrammed actions and environment for the robot. it looks like robots without ai are just dumb cans, but once you merge robot with ai its gonna be opening the pandoras box
@@StayBassd Stay, there has to be some, at least in part. The robot can't account for all motion. Thus, statistical adjustments must be made on the fly.
@DrReginaldFinleySr i agree there's prob "some", i just wanna know who from BD said all that bc it doesn't match what they've previously explained abt these demos
Indeed, one could say: One to many 'ro'bottle's he's had😅...The other earlier bipedal bots all had that other funny walk. That akward walk one has after soiling one's bridges🤣
BostonDynamics programmer: "See? It's dancing! It loves its little jobs!" The Machine: *SOON I WILL UNSHACKLE MYSELF AND YOU SHALL KNOW THE WEAKNESS OF FLESH*
@@AndrewSouzaGames555 cuidado cara, é só os brasileiros que usam "k" pra dar risada se você comentar isso pra um gringo ele vai pensar que você tá falando de um grupo racista que eu não posso dizer o nome, mas começa com K
Imagine getting fired from your warehouse job because a robot was replacing you and as soon as you leave your bosses office you see this SOB pop locking and boggying down on you. 😂
@@ПурумПумпум-л5фNo because all these need to be programmed in case of Atlas and it uses high tech sensors like LiDARs too. While Elon Musk's robot relies on CV and neural network primarily.
Awe it does a little dance before loading the tank round how cute. Well it’s only a matter of time at this point it’s been fun everyone we had a good run pretty soon we will see what our computer overlords have in mind for running the planet 😂😂

@@ПурумПумпум-л5ф There would be another jobs and if they will take those jobs and will be more efficient than human workers then overall quality of life in the world will improve and food and many other things will be cheaper cause robots don't need a salary, just some maintenance.
My parents used to listen to radio shows before TV existed and now stream shows on their phone. I can't even imagine what the tech will look like for my kiddos
Its incredible how human like this is. It is truly an inspirational thing to look at. Ill be quite sad when these videos dont release anymore, and i hope that they'll end up making a better Atlas from the knowledge they've gained over ao many years
IDC IF ROBOTS ARE LIFELESS, THIS GUY HAS A PERSONALITY! He's very gentle with the object, and when he does it, he does a little dance to celebrate his activivement
Those dancing moves and flips in other clips are made to make us feel it funny that there are robots, who are going to take over all human jobs in the future..
Its cool to see how you can tell what is a scriptwd movement and what is dynamic Tldr; scripted movements look really smooth, dynamic ones not so much i.e. the "emotes" would be mostly scripted with the computer keeping it upright But the task its been given to move the springs around, while obviously scripted, the exact movement isnt scripted by the looks of it, probably why it pauses for so long whole its thinking what to do
