SideShow such a perfect mix between pop and psychedelia. Such raw lyrics. He will be remembered as one of this generations top sonic sculptors. Have you heard his Atlas Sound song Quark Pt. 1 and 2?
for the nerds like me: MXR MicroAmp - Boss TU3 - Aria AOD-1 Overdrive (also bradford used to use a Boss OS2) - Danelectro Tuna Melt - Behringher RV600 Reverb Machine - Ibanez DE7 Delay/Echo - Eventide Pitchfactor - Line 6 DL4 for vocals: Digetech Digidelay and Digiverb, Ibanez DE7 Delay/Echo
This is the most beautiful song ever. And you've simply got to love Bradford's intensity on that stage. I saw him live once, and it was like a religious experience. Maybe those people were staring fish-eyed at him too because of the sheer beauty.
That's not the point. He programmed the pedal to make that arpeggio and built a lush composition around it. He still created it, not the hardware. It's a lot harder than it looks to do this type of music well.
I love crowds at atlas sound shows, they look so bored, i probably looked extremely bored last year in austin, but the man put me in a flipping trance, weed cookies, their good for you
this song needs to be played on the radio. Atlas Sound I put up there with Lorde's new album and Frank Ocean's Blonde it's the same ideas but different performer. Te Amo is genius beautiful work of art I dare say geninue and universal and communicate to a universal audience , pop perfection.
***** of course not, I was just explaining my experience and how it was such a great sound of drone that it put me into a trance that I most likely would have with or without pot, I think it's really amazing what he does with just himself up there, really special
im pretty sure he could play that arpeggio, but he cant play all three at the same time. it's just not possible. even if he looped them after individually playing all three, it wouldn't be close to how he wanted it to sound.
ok i have the eventide pitch factor as well and the arpeggio he uses is just a preset on the pedal. so shut up all you hipsters thinking you know your shit, he didn't make it.
um, I went to music school and play guitar, bass, drums and sing. I've spent my life around accomplished musicians who spend their lives studying music. I can tell you for a fact that this guy is not underrated. I'm not sure this has earned any rating at all, actually
