Do atmakaraka planets affect the mahadasha? Just got my report from u and I'm jupiter atmakaraka going into jupiter mahadasha, rahu was a troubled time i was hoping for some relief 😅
Amazing! Following the Vedic birthchart Ive got Mercury as Atmakaraka and it makes a lot of sense. Its always with mercurian qualities that I could get myself out of the ditch and make a career. Foreign languages, knowledge of my mothertongue, write well, learn all new communication tools etc, develop communication strategies. Thank you a lot Mercury! Also the religion at my side is Bouddhism, and I see a lot of mercurian qualities in it as well, because everything is explained in detail and you never stop learning.

And thanks for the good news, my AK,Sun is in navamsa first house with the navamsa lagna Lord in the same first house. And you know, he is exalted in birth chart and debilitated in navamsa. You are right, my atmakaraka is sun and rising with D9 chart lagna Sag, i gain (philosophy) spritual lesson what i wished for long time. As Sun is ego, i started letting go my ego through my learning.
you have not told where the lagna lord of d9 chart has to come in contact whether in the birth chart or in the d9 chart and how the contact should be whether in the house or directly with the planet in the chart

Really... :O My Atmakaraka is Mars[2L+7L] (Retro) in 6th House Pisces, aspect-ed by Mercury(Ex) in 12th(Vir). However, I do have Mars(Retro) in the 1st House(Sg.) in d9 and Navamsa Lagna(Jup) in the 5th(Aries). But Mars is Retro in both the cases, does that even count??? :-? :-? :-?
thanks for your video, am still working w/ your book. i have the latter scenario you gave w/ asc lord of birth chart w/ the asc of D-9 chart & also something called kendra and trikona there too. but for those who do not have these aspects for souls "equipped" to fulfill their destinies, from what i know of souls, we do not come here and choose our lives & lessons unless we know we can "fulfill destiny"? a spiritual Q re: this "take" on souls destinies in your interpretation of vedic astrology :)
You don't. The latter scenario was the ascendent lord of d1 in conjunction with ascendent lord of d9. 1st scenario was atmakarka of d1 in the ascendent of d9.
So I have the contact between both ascendant lords, in both charts, conjunct in d9 and in opposition in d1. My AK is my d9 ascendant lord and my d1 ascendant lord is my d9 yogakaraka.
I am a bit confused. The book says, see what the planet normally signifies, and when that planet is the atmakarka, the soul's lesson is the opposite of the planet's normal meaning. For example, Sun is normally ego, and as AK, we are to learn to moderate our ego. My AK is Saturn, ie discipline, realism. What is my soul to learn via this armakarka?
If the swamasya lagan Lord of D9 comes in contact with lagan Lord of D1 then it's called Maha laganmasya , right even it atamkarka is not sitting in lagan asc. Please clarify
My Atmakaraka is Moon. In my Navamsa, moon is in 7th house in Aries. 12th from 7th is Pisces ruled by Jupiter, 9th from 7th is Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter. Since my ascendant is vargottama, karakamsa is also in Aries in D1. 10th from there is 4th house in Capricorn. My amatyakaraka is Rahu (some astrologers consider Rahu if 2 planets are in same degree which I have and I subtracted the degrees from 30 since rahu moves retrograde. So rahu is vehicle for my moon. I have had dreams where I'm riding in a vehicle, I see there is no driver, I'm alarmed that the vehicle will crash, I must get into the drivers seat but it is a real struggle. In my navamsa, rahu is in first house so I must practice kriya yoga which in effect will put me in the drivers seat. Hi One small confusion, for Lagna masya You said that ascendant Lord of navamsha come in contact with the ascendant Lord of birth chart. Now this contact or conjunction should occur in birth chart or navamsha chart?
I think, I have this in my chart. Also ketu in 12th house from karkamsa lagna in D1. Final confirmation is coming in my palm lines, there is a straight horizontal line from Jupiter mount to sun mount touching and ending in the sun line.
In this video you have mentioned that we do not consider Rahu and Ketu as atmakarka(planet with highest degree) and in your Charatmakarka video you have mentioned that we can have Rahu as charatmakarka(Planet with highest degree) I have couple of questions 1). What is the difference between charatmakarka and atmakarka because as per your videos it is the planet with highest degree in the birth chart. 2). can we have rahu as atmakarka or charatmakarka. My atmakaraka is Venus. Venus (AK) is placed in the 5th house in the sign of aquarius in D1 chart. Venus is placed in the 2nd house in the sign of taurus in Navamsa. I have libra ascendant in D1 and aries ascendant in D9 chart. Mars...Is good the fact atmakaraka planet (Venus) is placed in her own sign (taurus) in navamsa chart?
