Thanks for checking out this backing track In the Key of A. This is very much an old school style blues riff that is about as easy as it gets. The riff focuses on playing the root of the 1, 4 and 5 chords in a 12 bar blues followed by the minor 3rd. Because of this the A minor pentatonic and A blues scales are obvious choices for this playing over this backing track. Think Eric Clapton on the blues breakers album or Gary Moor on some of his more traditional blues tracks.
