Near the end you kept saying the XDeep comes out on top because of the softer silicone and FOV… but weren’t you saying the Atomic had the softer skirt and extra FOV?
Got them both. Xdeep is a better softer seal especially if you have a tash. Atomic is a bit more prone to leaking but both great masks. Xdeep is my first choice and Atomic is my spare.
The Atomic mask(s) is/are much more refined and better quality masks especially in the long term. I rather spend the money once and forget about it for a very long time.
All brands need to stop with those generic boxes... we're paying hundreds for our masks and that's what we get? A cheap kitchen tupperware looking thing🙄
Thanks a lot for the great reviews. I've noticed that the mask Apeks VX1 and the Aqualung Plazma are extremely similar. From the photos and videos I could see, almost identical. Is there any real difference between these two masks? It would be great to understand if the Apeks VX1 is worth the extra money, given their high similarity. Thanks a lot in advance!
I purchased the xdeep on my owd course last weekend, and i'm totally happy with it, i just had to burn out the glass 3 times. Feels good looks good, good sight. totally recommend
@@Richard1976 in tec diving they call failure point to whatever may cause a hazard of entanglement, breaking or any malfunction of the diving equipment
For me personally, I like the combination of the large, continuous faceplates (as opposed to double lens) with the lightweight low-profile. I just have a cheap Cressi F1, but I really like it (even though the glass isn't low-iron like the models in the video).
