How about wrapping fuel line few times around this hot pipe exhaust, so the fuel can preheat and burn better. Copper pipe should work. I have an old blow torch for kerosene and it preheats the fuel line so much that it literally vaporizes kerosene in to mist and it also creates pressure. The only problem is the valve, it gets really hot and the insulation breaks down then starts to leak kerosene, badly designed as one casting in My opinion.
