I was really hoping to see you do some deep cutting. I was told this thing is 3 times more powerful than my ortur 3, I would assume that means it can cut stock that is thicker than 1/2". Have you experimented with thicker pieces?

1/2" Cedar, Pine, and Cherry have been no problem. I did try some 3/4" pine, which worked as well, but don't really have any current applications for it.

Hi Roger. Great video. I'm trying to connect mine to Lightburn but it won't find it. Do you know which laser or controller to select when setting up manually?

Nevermind, I found out I needed to download some driver that Lightburn suggested was a common driver for these Chinese lasers. All up and running now!

Before attempting to let Lightburn find your laser, make sure no COM port is already selected next to the Devices button or it won't find it. This is especially true if you have other lasers already in the software.

I placed an order two days later I got an email that they were out of stock. They offered a more expensive version because as they wrote these are available. I agreed and placed a new order after they returned the money. Two days later I got an email saying that this one is also out of stock! This company is a scam.
