I have not ran across the steps per rotation instead of mm in the rotary setup dialogue. I would recommend posting in a Facebook group along with a screen snip- people are pretty responsive in the groups to help! Thanks for watching!
@@thelaserchannel1 Maybe it depends on the laser. I’m using a Gweike Cloud RF with Lightburn. Other people say to use 3200 as steps per rotation. But when I put that number in, the chuck rotates almost 2 full turns when I run a test.
@@roofoofighter I haven't ran into Lightburn showing steps per rotation in the rotary setup. Steps/rotation and mm/rotation are two separate adjustments. I recommend posting a FB group with screen snips- the the screen snips people can see the menu or setup area you're in along with your results.
I can't get my rotary chuck to hold on to heavy dollar store tapered glasses. It don't matter if I try to grip them from the small end or the wide end, they slip out of the the chuck. And, it also doesn't matter if I grip them outside or inside. Any ideas?
Hi- I recommend using the included wheel stand normally for the roller unit- adjust to support one end of the glass- you may need to tape the wheel stand to the chuck frame to hold it in place. Best wishes!
Thank you! Usually the leg extensions come with the Atomstack brand rotary units unless a 3rd brand is used. If you don't see them on the Atomstack website an email would be my next step!
