Just to follow up with, "I've been an Atreyu fan since Animals and Fractures of your porcelain beauty, I also used to watch the DvD behind the scenes clips from Death Grip, and as I noticed, "I knew Brandon Saller, aka the drummer was going to bring this band to a ridiculous "SOUND" if you will, I even called it back 2004! I am a major in Psychology human behavior, and "THE NAIL WAS HIT DIRECTLY ON THE HEAD!
Has a "Bleeding Mascara" feel to it... I love it! But hey, they said themselves that this album has the feel if they would've done this stuff after The Curse instead of A Death-Grip On Yesterday.
This might be my favorite song on the Album. I listened to Atreyu since I was 16. I was so pissed how soft they went on. Congregation of the Damned. But I'm sooo glad their back to sounding like they used to. Long Live Atreyu!
Idky people have this notion on Alex's voice and talent like he lost some steps. His screamin style changed as well as wear and tear from the years but there a a lot of notes on this album he hits and sounds right off the curse and his clean singing is great. Yeah not like Brandon, but he has a big range and he is detrimental to their sound and imo he is the best metalcore vocalist of his time and still fucking amazing
I am very glad to hear Atreyu making a come back. This was my favorite band when I was like 16. But in all honesty, Alex doesn't sound as good as he used to. He used to be more refined. Brandon still sounds amazing as ever though, and so does the rest of the band. The sound of everything reminds of the bands roots, which is awesome. But Alex sounds like he's lost a little something along the way. This is only my personal opinion though. Still a great band by all means.
