Grief doesn't keep a schedule. You will never "get over" losing your mom. It will get a little more manageable as you learn how you grieve, and as Grief learns that Jamie has to go on living, so you can honor your mom with the life she gave you. Time doesn't heal -- it does make things a little more predictable. The fact that you still (and always will) grieve is a testament to the depth of your love and your relationship with your mom. ❤️ ❤❤😢
I lost my mom 4 years ago and the grief still hits me. Out of nowhere I just start crying. They say it gets better with time, but they’re wrong. It’s completely normal to feel the way you do. Losing your mom is a devastating feeling. My only advice is to continue to get up every morning and make your day as normal as you can. That’s what your mom would want for you. I’m sending you all my prayers and positive thoughts. Hang in there Jaime, you’ve got this.
I lost my dad 81/2 years ago and there's days that the tears still come . I was a daddy's girl and the baby of the family. So from the time I was 11 I had all his attention I miss him so much. They say it gets easier I don't think it does the tears just don't come as often. But there's still an empty spot in my life that can never be filled. Hi Jamie! Again so sorry for your loss! My heart goes out to you❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼. I lost my dad almost 18 years ago to colon cancer and my only brother took his own life two years ago. It’s hard I still think of them and cry, but there are also the good memories that make me smile! Hang in there, just know that your mom is always with you in spirit and know how proud she was to have you as her daughter🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️

Awww I hope the robe helps him. Losing your Mom is something you never get over. Our life as we knew it is gone. We just have to move forward one day at a time. It gets easier with time, but honestly we never stop grieving our Mom. Certain things will trigger memories. I lost my Mom in 2009 and there are days I am crippled in pain and grief! It’s okay to feel the way you do, especially when it’s still so recent. People say it gets better with time, which in a way it true, but you will always have your moments. Life does go on, with our busy lives and loving family surrounding us, it just makes it a bit easier to manage. Just think of the good and funny memories you had with her. Talk about the wonderful memories you had with your mom, believe it or not it does help in a way. When I lost my dad and brother it was hard, I thought that I wouldn’t be able to stop grieving. I do have three kids and a husband, so it was easier to deal with their loses. Your mom will always be there for you when you need her the most❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

After working retail fur 15 years nothing surprises me about people like that 😮 Grief is a painful and tender journey. I’m 6 mos out so far . There is good days not so good days . The tears will be less as time goes . I think I cried an ocean , but it’s so healing to release . I go 2 weeks great then out if blue tears falling . The best way I describe it is “ waves” a few weeks ago I thought I was going to drown and this week I’m smiling and laughing .❤ it’s a painful journey , but I just roll with it . I still can’t think straight and takes a village to keep me on track !🥰
