Any chance you have a pic or can follow up on the back plate? I was thinking of doing two snaps at the tops on the shoulder but wasnt sure past that were to put snaps.
Not done mine yet! Long overdue, but working on how it's going to interact with the jackpack harness underneath. Would probably do 8 or 10 all round, in the corners for sure
I would say just get a regular polyurethane (resin) kit and put it in yourself. Use a heat gun to heat up that area then just push it in and hold till it cools (or run under water if you can) I imagine that's exactly how they did it for the movie
Imperial system was created by the british.hahaha The imperial system of units, imperial system or imperial units is the system of units first defined in the British Weights and Measures Act 1824 and continued to be developed through a series of Weights and Measures Acts and amendments.
@@BucketheadStudios I was really helped by a french channel that explained that with an old couch, a cutter and a fork you can do lots of thing! Now I love leather work!
I just watched your latest video on attaching the armour. You made it look a lot easier then Cruzer's Tutorial. I've been worried about this part. As you know if you don't get the armour lined up correctly it doesn't look right. Not to mention poking holes in leather freaks me out a bit. The armour you bought looks great. I wish I knew about that maker before I ordered mine from Bobamaker. It's going to be sometime before I get my Flak vest and armor from him. Do you have a link to the buttons and tools you used to attach the buttons?
Thank you, yeah was definitely something I was concerned about, but it's not too hard, just a meticulous operation. My flak vest is from Bobamaker, you won't regret it, it's so nice! These are the snaps I used www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003X2ELQ6 these ones come with the setting tools
How do you know exactly what distance from the edge your scores that you make with the calliper need to be? By that I mean how do you know that the distance between the two points on the calliper is the right distance to use?
