meh. i love austin, om&m was my favorite band since middle school, but with his voice problems and his syndrome, he isnt that great anymore. Still a great dude with a lot of talent, he just cant perform like that anymore or he'll kill himself.
Man its crazy that these guys were in high school, people said austin hasnt been as on point live since this, dude was a young buck here lol of course now that hes older things are different, also damn this was awesome wish i saw it live
Austin doesn't sound NEARLY as crisp live as he did back then. He sounds so sharp and on point. In the newer OM&M stuff and when they perform live, he doesn't scream nearly as well. Not saying he is bad by any means! Still one of the best screamers on the scene, but I definitely have heard struggle forming the last few years.

Attack Attack! is doing well with their music. He had throat surgery. After the surgery it changed his voice. The man is lucky to be able to scream at all. Hell as well as he does now currently is a miracle.
Austin is a fucking beast!! I miss the old Attack Attack With Jhonny and Austin. But something good came for the separation of Austin from Attack Attack! O&M That band is the shit!! Caleb is doing well XD

I put that because I'm glad Austin left this band and formed OM&M. They are one of my favorite bands of all time, and I'm a huge fan of Austin Carlile. I think he'd be waisting his talent in AA.
I really hated that everyone was talking shit about Austin, especially with what he was going through. _Attack Attack!_ fucking kicked him out for his personal issues and talked shit about him, so I got really mad, because Austin is my fucking idol. He is my number one male role model, and I fucking love him and _of Mice & Men._ He's an amazing guy, and he's healed and gotten better since around 2010. Being in oM&M has done him wonders, along with many other people. But I really hated how people were talking shit about him and calling him names. Yes, he had personal issues! So what?! Maybe he couldn't handle them too well and had to let it out somehow by drinking. But now he's better. And what the hell is this fucking rumor that he "slept with underaged girls"? Now, I can't prove that was true, but I _highly_ doubt it was. That's just stupid and fucking ridiculous. So grow up, people. Austin is a wonderful man, and he'll always have my respect.

@jeffrinck146 Yeah, I watched their studio updates and saw the note book he wrote lyrics in for like 3 seconds I paused it... I didn't realize he wrote ALL of the lyrics.
austin has a unique voice and scream. not necessarily brutal, but still great. y’all go look up austile carlile’s tribute to mitch lucker. it was great
@ChaosHero17 yea! he wrote SCS, and to me, that was their BEST album by far, tottally throws the new album away! not just becuase of the christian lyrics, but the sound too
everyone mad/ sad about austin leaving. Attack Attack! is still great with Caleb on vocals, and Of Mice and Men is even better :p so stop hating him leaving cause if Caleb didnt take over vocals there would be no more Attack Attack!. and Austin making Of Mice and Men was a fabulous idea ;D
i love both bands but to me Caleb has put AA! on the musical scene more than Austin ever did. Austin put OM&M on the musical scene to. so stop dissing both guys.
I say it's a really good thing this happened, because if this didn't happen we wouldn't have of mice and men so that's two amazing bands right there!! So look on then pros mostly not then cons:)
man, u got to see AA! while austin was in it. your so lucky. i saw them with caleb as vocals, it was when he was barely starting out on vocals though, so he didnt do so good.
I saw OM&M on the Right Back at it Again tour with ADTR, and he sounded fine. But he mixed it up a bit. Should he not cup the mic so much, we'd hear the high part of his scream more clearly. I've concluded he's either A: Trying to become more diverse (considering he's gotta scream like that every night, it must get boring sometimes), or B: He's actually got a problem with his voice and he's trying to save it for as long as possible.
I don't think it was bad, I like Attack Attack! with Austin. But, I feel as if Austin is better in Of Mice and Men and Caleb Shomo in Attack Attack! as the new vocalist.
