I already knew what an ADSR was in the traditional sense but I don’t know why I never thought to use it to modulate other parameters like this. This is blowing my mind I’m definitely going to try this with my modular stuff tonight! So I guess this is basically what a function generator is and it’s basically a lot of what is at the core of the maths module. Pretty amazing thank you for this!

Ah nice. I was experimenting recently with the Shaper device, love these LFO envelope thingy. Suzuki Kentaro also makes some crazy LFO m4l stuff, might need to drop the money on that at some point…

The information presented here is spot on, but I think a VST like Vital would have been much clearer to follow as it draws everything that happens on the envelopes and LFO's on-screen. It would also have been much larger so easier to look at. Just a suggestion.

NED can you do a video playing around with Ribs Granular Synth?... I'm relatively new to granular synthesis and recently grabbed Ribs for free. Very confused, would be fun to see you have a play around with it. I know you love granular synthesis so maybe you'll have fun making a video! EDIT: Ribs by Hvoya Audio
