BB-52 Downspiral is a well-designed, cone-headed Beastbox prehistoric sea creature that’s a great cross section of sophistication and simplicity, playability and display-ability, and design & engineering with an unusually high quality color scheme for a standard release figure.
This review covers details about this excellent release, comparison with its limited edition counterpart BB-52IC Icicle, its gantry system bonus item and hybrid “rocket” mode, the notoriety surrounding 52Toys’ 52nd figure release, a transformation demo and a wrap-up with a Box Grade and some final notes.

Man great review as always good sir! Love this mold. The Icicle is beautiful. Would love a Clear Red one for another repaint. Youre freakin awesome!

Probably no hope of ever seeing it released as a Final Edition, but I have zero doubt they’ll do at least one more repaint of Downspiral. Hope you’re having a great 4th weekend. 🎇✌️

Thanks, man! Yeah, I agree -- I'd have to jog my memory about which ones stood out the most to me last year, but this one is a standout; I almost regret not getting Downspiral sooner. I'll have to go back and watch your review, as well. 😎

It's thanks to your reviews and other video aswell, I bought it last week (I wasn't interested upon release)! It is suprisely how well balance it is as I felt if Hasbro were to made it, it would of been either too heavy or too light. Also they would of made the tip made of rubber! It remind me of Reaper/Lotus. Multiply limbs, easy transformation and need to tab everything so it fix into the box easily.
