They can be aggressive and dangerous anytime not just when young are around. They SPEAR fish with their razor sharp beak, don’t just grab fish. Also when a dog or cat gets too close they go for the eyes.

Those guys are so nasty xD they would eat grain from my hand but usually hot smart enough that if they peck my hand to death or chase me I’d drop it
