Nooo wayy!!!! This is one of my favorite Saturday afternoon movies growing up!!! Whenever I saw it was gonna be on TV, I watched it. 🎉🎉I'm so happy you're going to show it🎉🎉
Another amazing Roger Corman production! Bruno VeSota - Sidney Chillas in "Daddy-O," Dave Walker in "Attack of the Giant Leeches," Zebelon Tabb in "Gunslinger," Seltzer in "The Wild Wild World of Batwoman," Scoop the Innkeeper in "The Undead," Night watchman in "The Wasp Woman" (Cinematic Titanic), Lindell's Sponsor in "The Devil's Hand," Moose McGill in "The Choppers" (RiffTrax and The Mads Are Back). He also directed "The Brain Eaters" (The Mads Are Back) Gene Roth - Lunch stand operator from "Tormented," the New York train conductor from "The Rebel Set," Sheriff Cagle from "Earth Vs. The Spider," Sheriff Kovis in "Attack of the Giant Leeches," Igor in "She Demons" (RiffTrax Presents) Yvette Vickers - Honey Parker from "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman" (not a riffed movie, just a beloved, classic B-movie) which starred Allison Hayes, who was in these riffed movies! "The Crawling Hand," "The Unearthly," "Gunslinger" and "The Undead!"
I love these old horror movies. They were so funny. My favorite line in these movies was "Professor, you're a scientist. Surely YOU don't believe..." 😅😅😅
This movie freaked me out as a kid - especially the sound the creatures make, and the way they feed off their victims slowly, keeping them alive for the long haul. And what is it with the amount coffee they drink in this movie?
This movie proves you don't need fancy special effects to pull off an entertaining, sci-fi/horror premise, and all wrapped up in a tight 62 minutes. I get a kick out of Gene Roth as the sheriff.
Maybe someone here might know.... There's an old movie, about an old farmhouse family (dad, mom and much younger son). There's an infection in the water and everyone who drinks it turns into crazy cannibals. Mom gets it first and starts sewing her yarn into her hand while dad and son talk in the living room. She's making goofy noises occasionally before they realize it and stop her. Eventually she goes full bat crap crazy, turns zombie like, they have to lock her up in the basement where the mail man goes down and gets eaten. Dad eventually starts getting boils on his face and turns crazy. I think the young boy lives. Has anyone seen this black and white old movie and know what it is? Thank you....
@redfaux74 The movie you are describing sounds like "The Crazies," a 1973 horror film directed by George A. Romero. While it doesn't exactly match your description of a black and white film, it does share some similarities with the plot you mentioned. In "The Crazies," a small town is exposed to a military biological weapon that contaminates the water supply, causing people to go insane and become violent. The film follows the story of various individuals and families as they try to survive in the midst of the chaos caused by the infection. The symptoms you described, such as erratic behavior and violence, align with what happens to the infected characters in the movie. While "The Crazies" is not a black and white film, it is a notable classic in the zombie and infection subgenre of horror films. It's possible that you are thinking of this movie or that there is another lesser-known film with a similar plot that matches your description more closely. Cheers!
@@CultCinemaClassics - I saw the preview of the movie and that's not it. I think mine is mid 1960s? Not sure. But thank you. The movie I'm looking for is much more quiet, seductive. There aren't many characters in the movie I'm looking for. Just the dad, mom, kid, mailman (short part) and I think the sheriff who comes to check up on them. It's a slow build up and scary for that boy. It takes a decent amount of time to get full crazy. The part where the mom is forced to be in the basement is creepy. The power is out and the mailman has to use matches to see. She's in the background looking like a demon and then she's not. I think she stabs him to death and eats him out of camera.
Nope. Maybe you're confusing him with John Phillip Law. Clark was in South Pacific, 12 To the Moon, some spaghetti Westerns and gladiator films, and loads of B film and TV shows. He played alongside James Gardner in one of the only spaghetti westerns with Gardner in A Man Called Sledge. He died of a heart attack at age 81.
