@@BilobateDrip Migrating is actually how tumbleweeds propogate their seeds. When the plant dries up and comes out of the ground, the seeds fall off the stems as the wind carries it.

I'm watching this because I almost died today over a random tumbleed crossing an undivided two lane highway. Man traveling in opposite direction of me swerved to avoid the sole tumbleed in 1,000,000 square miles crossing the road, and in the process almost rolled his van off the shoulder (going 65 mph ) but then managed to over correct and head straight for my car. The high speed collision (because of 1 random tumbleed ) did not happen because he managed to gain control over his van and regain position in his lane at the last moment before impact.

observation: That can and will set your car on fire. They are arid, dry and will light up wedged near your exhaust. I aint no expert but I'd advise against it.
I once accepted a lucrative work contract in North Dakota, only to find this sort of landscape to be the dominant feature of the region. Left after a week because unemployment was preferable to the soul-crushing boredom of the town and its people. True story.
