Je partage totalement ton ressenti, je me pose aujourd’hui encore beaucoup de questions sur cette œuvre et ses personnages (Mikasa notamment). Merci pour ton soutien ❤

Esclave de son destin, il a toujours inconsciemment voulu s'échapper de ses murs. Voir la mer ne l'a jamais intéressé, mais être une personne qui a su déjouer des murs pour voir le monde extérieur est libre. Malheureusement, la mer n'est pas une finalité. Alors, il va tout faire pour prouver que son destin, même si écrit d'avance, résulte de ses choix à lui, prouver qu'il n'est pas né juste pour mourir, mais qu'il est né dans ce monde, alors il y mérite du vivre tout comme chaque être humain. Et alors, pouvoir voir tous les endroits de ce monde sont son droit de naissance. Il va se battre pour ça, même si tout est écrit d'avance. Pour avoir cette vue, il va abandonner son humanité, mais il continuera d'aller de l'avant, comme Reiner a continué d'aller de l'avant pour devenir un héros. Eren ne fait pas ça premièrement pour sauver l'île du Paradis, ni en priorité pour ses amis, mais parce que lui et Reiner sont pareils, des gens qui se jettent eux-mêmes dans une guerre pour pouvoir accomplir leur idéal. Malheureusement, la scène liberté, l'une des plus iconiques d'Eren, est la scène où il est le plus prisonnier du manga, prisonnier de ses souvenirs du futur. Il confond le temps, et s'imagine le livre qu'Armin lui avait décrit, un monde sans ennemis mais juste les paysages de ce monde. Eren vole la liberté des gens de l'extérieur qui ont eu le droit de voir la mer, les lacs de glace, les terres de feu, etc.… Il dit que c'est la liberté, mais marche, comme la forme de son titan le montre, comme un pantin de son destin, tout osseux, comme un mort-vivant de son destin tout tracé. Il dit qu'il avait toujours un mur devant lui, et que maintenant il n'y en a plus, mais marche avec les titans des murs exterminer tous ses ennemis, quelle ironie! Ce personnage est tellement tragique!
