15:43 I think Lara Tybur could've stayed in the nape if she wanted to. Her power allows her to create anything from hardened flesh, even the titan body itself, but it's not remotely controlled by default. In this particular scenario, I believe Lara choose to stay outside the titan as an strategy. The battlefield was small, she didn't need to run or chase her opponent, the buildings and debris kept her hidden, she had the tactical support of the Marleyan military and even if she loses the battle, she couldn't been eaten because of the crystal. It's fair to assume that Lara was aware of Willy's plan and knew everything about his secret scheme with Magath. The only reason the Warhammer didn't finish Eren off was the arrival of the scouts. It's one of the most powerful shape shifters and my absolute favorite. I look forward to your next reaction, guys. Next episode is INSANE.

"Everybody sucks" is understandable but somewhat unfair. I mean, there IS a plan for Marley to attack their island again and they are hilariously underpowered even with the attack and colossal titan. This was a honeypot situation, true, but it did provide an opportunity to get rid of Marley's high command. It could not be overlooked. Willy sacrificed them to get the support of the rest of the world while becoming a martyr for humanity, which is kind of amazing when you think about it... except for the whole horrible and painful death part, I guess. What I mean is that Marley is not backing down and since they've been fighting since kids, they know quite well what they're capable of. They either attack now or fight the same losing battle they've always fought.

You know- you don’t have to have a release schedule. You can just react and finish up the series in like the next couple of days and we’d be here for it. Come on come on!

While everyone is using Anti-Personnel gear, Levi is still using the ODM gear because that's what he mastered, he's insanely nuts, being the best out there while using the improper gear for the attack

Levi's last shot overlaps with Porco's "Akuma(Devil)" line, which is really cool. Good job MAPPA!

Another reason to like Isayama's work : the mirror Season 4 (Andt the chapters it adapts) show you Marley life. It's people, the laugh, the love, the children.... just like the first episode did with Shiganshina. It show you what it feels like to be suddenly attacked, when your world turn into a nightmare... only this time you know the attacker. You know why... and you feel conflicted. You dont want Magath or Pieck to die, but you dont want to see Mikasa or Connie to be hurt... And even the fea of the Titans has been reversed. As you said "They dont fear you"... yet, remember the terror the Titans gave to everyone one of these characters before. Mirror effect. The doubts, the conflict. For who should the viewer/reader feel sorry for ? Isayama took some HEAVY narrative risks by showing us that not everything was black and white. He basically made his whole story, who revolved about "giant monsters" into a critic of war and the importance of the point of view.

Eren truly living up to his Titan's name.

To be fair, Eren waited last episode for willy to finish his speech to see what his going to say, I bet if willy suggested that there should be peace negotiations this whole ordeal might have not happened, but willy decided to declare war on Paradise instead which I guess doesn't give Paradise any other options than to fight back for their survival, it's probably why eren said to rainer (I guess I'm just like you) referring to episode 6 of season 2 where we can see that rainer after learning that the devils of Paradise were just normal people after staying with them for so many years, but he still has to do what he has to do for his cause. Just letting you know that man made the speech basically telling the UN to kill all of them on the island, that’s why eren waited for him to say war on paradise, making it official that this is war, u watch 1-3 saw how they suffered, eren wasn’t going to let them attack again, instead he brought the fight to them.

Thanks for being some of the reactors actually trying to digest and analyze the message and theme Isayama wanted to portry in this story. Most reactor are just "fuck yea go scouts kill everyone omg eren chad!" A lot of surface level watchers.

This episode has the perfect contrast of people dealing with the Scouts. When Pieck heard the 3DOOMG she got instant PTSD, in the other hand, Galliard that has never dealt with them cant even comprehend why these people just dont give a crap about him being the "big bad titan". Just awesome!

Actually i really feel sorry for our guys, they don't even have any choice but to attack them first before they come to attack paradis island 😔😔

The world was ALREADY hating and discriminating against Eldian's. Eren attacking doesn't really do anything to change their perspective aside from uniting every nation to attack them as one. Not sure why anyone thinks this attack somehow made every nation start to hate the Eldians or change how they were view.

I don't know if you recall this, but the mysterious blonde soldier who led Pieck and Galliard into the trap also led Zeke away as well, at the same time. They pointed Zeke in a direction away from the plaza, saying Magath or some other Marleyan brass wanted him to go somewhere over there, then led Pieck and Galliard into the trap. So that is the immediate reason why Zeke is not in the plaza at this moment.

This is exactly how eren felt when bertoto busted up the wall i feel like a lot of people forget that when they hate on eren

In this episode, although I didn't want our old characters to get hurt, I think I was mostly rooting for the characters from Marley, since they were the ones being attacked here. Like in the end, when Levi showed up, I was at the same time "COOL!!!" and "DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH GALLIARD" 😂🤷🏿‍♀️

reiner and falco don't want to save endians by taking them somewhere else lol. they can't even do that. it's not an option. and if it was, it would literally be the same thing as king fritz fleeing to the paradis island. reiner and falco are idealists that don't wanna fight anymore but have no real plan to achieve peace. the only thing they've been pursuing so far is protecting gabi and having falco inherit the armoured titan instead of her. which is still part of the fucked marlean system where kids forfeit their lives and fight in somebody else's war till they die in battle or from the titan curse. at least eren fights for what he believes in and actually gets results

i just realized japanese pronounciation to ackerman is "akama" coincidentally the word "悪魔"(akuma) translates as devil

Something I find pretty cool (don't know if it was intentional or not) is at the end when Porco is being attacked by the scouts he says the word 'Akuma' (devil) which sounds very familiar to 'Ackermann', and right as he says that word Levi swoops in and fills the screen Just find the (ish) double meaning there such a cool little detail
