the last panel is making me so teary-eyed. The whole show began with Mikasa waking Eren and in the end he was buried in the same spot he napped. Seeing that instead of waking him, she put the wood down and napped next to him. That's like showing that they're together forever and It's single-handedly destroying me. I can't stop watching this and just crying god this show ruined my life in the best way possible.

ずっと、「もしも」の世界を想像してきたけど、実際に絵で描かれると想像以上に辛すぎて泣いた

The way Eren bursts into tears seeing what could have been is just heartbreaking. You drew it so well as he slowly starts crying, realising he cant keep it together and then falls down on the floor, howling and weeping from misery - it literally tears me apart.

キャラクターの事をよく理解していないと描けない…感銘を受けすぎてうまく言葉にできません ただ、原作が完結した時、完結編後編を見終わった時の感覚が蘇ってきた。

最終回を迎えてやり場のない何とも言えない感情があったけど、エレンが泣いた瞬間一緒に泣いてしまった。

"but there are only goodbyes for our love" amazing! love seeing eren's perspective as he has to hurt his loved ones and it absolutely physically hurt when it went into "what could've been" if eren had came home to them at the start of season 4 everything that he lost and how much it hurts him also while throughout the whole thing glimpses of the rumbling are interspersed reminding him and us that the "could've been" wasn't what he chose. I love the shots of hange as well because eren cared about them as well and the shot of them smiling when he "returns" as something reassuring and steadfast. the huddles of children shaking with fear and the people climbing and desperately calling out to a mary inspired religious figure who has her hands out to protect them was haunting. the dove with the olive branch dead on the ground, and the two unnamed people holding hands as they face the rumbling, hopelessness and love from the end of the world adding a kid to the eren and mikasa family, grown enough to the age eren would never have been around for everything was so heartbreaking and beautiful thank you for sharing your work!

今更ながらこの作品を拝見しまして涙が止まりません。泣き出す幼馴染、激昂するジャンとコニー、怯えるハンジさんに失望する兵長、泣き崩れるヒストリア、潰される人々と子ども達…… 全てエレンが地ならしの際、自ら望んで、望まなかった事であり、叶うかもしれなかった幸せな未来を破り捨ててまで未来のミカサとミカサの子供の幸せを守ろうとした彼の心情を思うと辛すぎて悲しすぎてボロッボロに涙が出てきてありえんくらい泣きました。 最後の場面の少年エレンが、ミカサと一緒に幸せな夢を見ていることを願います。

エレンの涙があふれるところで私も涙が出てしまいました…… あったかもしれない未来、本編とはまた違うエレン目線のみんなとエレンを見れた気がして、切なくて悲しくて、でも同時にすごく嬉しくなりました 素敵な動画をありがとう

大号泣しました。最近進撃の巨人をアニメで一話から最終話まで一気見したのですが、それも相まって感情移入が爆発しました。すべては決まっていたことでしょうが、このMVにあるような道もほんとうはあったのだと思うと...。 素敵な作品をありがとうございます

The miserable part is that if Eren did choose to give up and go back to his friends, they still wouldn't even be safe and would all die to the titan curse, just like Eren would be dead in 4 years regardless. There was truly no winning for him.

i started this anime when i was around 9 or 10, and i finally finished it at 18. AoT is a once in a lifetime story that will have an impact on me forever.

I've been re-watching AoT over the past three months with my girlfriend (she has never seen it before) and we're nearing the end (just finished "From You 2000 Years ago") and watching this now is just bringing me to tears so much. My girlfriend and I have discussed having a family together and I've been making plans to propose, so seeing the "what if" section just got to me so hard. This video is so good!

Eren’s pain is unimaginable. When he told armin he couldn’t change anything expect that outcome, it’s heartbreaking that this animation shows what eren would’ve been thinking and going through at that time. I think now they’re in afterlife together as we know the promise from mikasa “iterrashai eren”❤

Scene that potrays rumbling and children's fears are truly marvelous. When Eren 'imagining' about Mikasa and their child, and his comrades welcoming him home really heartbreaking. In that scene, maybe Eren regrets his decision. If the rumbling didnt happen, maybe his comrades would welcoming him home, he can build his family with Mikasa and have kids, or he can spend his time with his friend and make another good memories. Anyway, this animation is a beautiful masterpiece. I really appreciate your ideas, time, and efforts. Thank you very much.

this is my fifth time rewatching this masterpiece and everytime i can't stop crying this is so so well done and the emotions really hit you in the face

I didn't even consider him likely wanting to possibly create a larger family that he won't be able to be around for due of the curse. Splicing that with images of the rumbling's damage is also pretty cool in a messed-up way. And the end with both of them napping under the tree is a wonderful conclusion. Amazing work.

Would have loved to have seen that regret in the anime. Makes me think of Carla’s death scene in the 1st ep where she insists on getting the kids to safety and to leave her there but after watching Hannes run with the kids she starts to cry and begs not to be left behind while having flashes of what she’s losing and what is now gone. It’d be a good mirror that could have been snuck in at one point.
