People 2000 years in the future be like: "So in the ancient times, there are actual giants that ruled the world, and "Attack on Titan" is a reenactment of what happened."
@JayHeartwing some people believe Adam was gigantic so I wouldn't find it impossible for titans to exist centuries ago. Human just continue to shrunk to this day.
And we all thought this was gonna be a series about a kid trying to avenge his mothers death at the hands of titans and building camaraderie with his peers. Oh how far we’ve come from that
AOT is the one anime universe you’d be so unlucky to be reborn in, double unlucky if you are born outside of paradise but even if you are lucky enough to be born in paradise that luck cancels out cause you have like a 75% chance of still dying
So last night I watched the anime finale. I saved this video 2 years ago knowing there would be spoilers about the end. Now watching it it just feels so great. The show has many vibes, and one of my favorites is the gruesome horrifyingly realistic one. This is a story of fiction, but it reminds me of the real life lore that exists in the human story, and how we are powerless in the face of calamity and how we can create many horrors that go beyond the ones embedded in natures cruelty... This video captures that perfectly. It is a masterpiece of a video and aestethic. It strikes so many chords deep within.
AoT really is a representation of our world. In the final sequence we saw Shiganshina becoming a modern metropolis and then being destroyed by what we can only assume is a nuclear bomb. The entire show is a representation of how helpless humans really are and how insignificant we are when people in power choose to do something.
Marco? Try Thomas. Or maybe that one guy who blew his brains out in the Supply Depot. Marco was still Number 7 out of hundreds, IIRC, he just made enemies of Numbers 2-4.
I'd love to see an attack on titan live action where they can catch this exact atmosphere. This is what attack on titan should ACTUALLY look like in real life so a fateful adaption would deserve no less in my opinion
@@InstitutionalWorker well, terrible in a sense where it was made like that, it's supposed to be grimy, rough around the edges and worn out. And as for the depictions, it was intended to only focus on the widespread events, as though an eye witness is recording the happenings themself, so naturally it would focus more on the titans, and the path of destruction they left behind, and not the inner workings of how that came to be.
Well maybe because it took years for the story to reveal the geopolitical depths and parallels to our history that makes this this such an endearing series.
I mean, hearing the fact that the entre world is gonna get trampled by a horde of colossal titans and a huge ribcage with a hanging neck, that's terrifying
Like... I am on the Eldian’s side.. but in real life I’m sure I would be fucking terrified of the race of people that can eliminate the rest of the world on a whim.
Bro I remember seeing this a couple years back and being so impressed with the quality of your video. And then learning you were only 16 at the time of making this impressed me even more! And then the cherry on top, you're the dude who created the Back Rooms series on RU-vid! Absolutely mindblowing and you're still only 18. That's true talent. From one filmmaker to another, keep going. You're lightyears ahead of me in terms of quality and storytelling and I've been doing this for almost 10 years. Lmao. Can't wait to see what you come up with next Kane!
pov: you’re eren and inherited all these memories. no wonder the guy’s mind was breaking, seeing all of this and even more. having to see the countless people crushed in order to achieve an innocent dream, a human right, his freedom
I feel like he's such a misunderstood character. People don't seem to realize he can see both the past and future, which I mean everything in the world of AoT is traumatizing ofc he's not going to be the same.
@@Nonyeagerist he's not misunderstood, considering the entire fandom is divided because of him. The AoT fanbase (well, the nontoxic ones, anyway) is pretty damn great at putting shit into perspective, that those who support one side or the other are _usually_ genuine in their stance, and see the whole picture. This is why I love this show.
2:40 2:53 the shadow of the blimp on the ground is actually one of the more impressive things imo , The fact that these actually existed and where soo incomprensibly big They where like real life giants in a sense
Only found Kane Pixels vids yesterday and have seen this and the other AOT videos of his multiple times till now. Love how perfectly this video portrays the feeling and knowledge of inevitability, not just in the context of the story of AOT but also for anything in real life, too. Although I have no idea what the lyrics of this ending song mean, it matches so well and lets this inevitable feeling sink in even more. One day we will pass away and there's nothing we can do about it, except for living in the moment with what is left for us, this limited time and connection to those close to us. Life is a tragic and sad thing in every way, no matter how good of a life someone may have, since everything will end and be of no importance one day or the other. But somehow it's still beautiful. ...Damn this video makes me overthink anything even more...
@@noisyguest5249 don’t worry the only reason there were so much deaths is because Titans were created from racism by the marleyans and we have nukes and jets so Titans won’t cause too much damage
Plot Twist: Isayama is the final survivor of the aftermath, but the rumbling hasn’t fully ended yet, and his plan is to bring awareness to hope someone doesn’t go down the path Eren goes down so the world can hopefully stop the rumbling from happening.
Does that mean... the rumbling is still happening in a different country or idk while you explained that Eren Yeager/ Jaeger still walks with the Colossal Titans/ Wall Titans while the scouts still tries to stop him, am i right?
@@iYaPot21 i mean when you look at the pacific ocean maybe there was once a country in the middle but got destroyed by the titans but hey this is just a theory
I hate the fact i love this. Great war was hell and tragedy nobody desereved and the fact this includes real footage of people dieing id dreadfull but somehow yet... strangly and disgustingly beutiful, like the failed charge you survived.
if you want a real answer, he said he thought of it in a dream and decided to continue with it. we've all thought of terrifying things in dreams before but it's still-
This is literally the most detailed video I’ve ever seen. I have seen this same video like 40 times yet I’m still discovering cool little details that mean a lot in aot lore
These videos helped spark my interest to learn about WW1, which expanded to learning more 20th century history. Thank you as a AOT fan and as a history nerd. 9:09pm Aug/29/23 Tuesday
Yeah kinda. We see everything from the eldians perspective at a time past Eldias horrific deeds, so we're on their side. But speaking a little bit more objectively, it would almost have been better if Eldia would have never existed. This is like the 5 time they screw over the world.
Imagine if some historical scientists or whatever discovered this a thousand years later and then they studied it, then it became a thing, then they believed that this is what really happened in the past and then it got into schools and shit like yooo my great great great great great great great great grandchildren gonna be studying this masterpiece not knowing it's an anime that his great great great great great great great great grandpa used to watched while eating chips
The shot at 1:54 is terrifying. Imagine being a soldier, and seeing that monstrous silhouette against the moonlit sky, as screams ring out across your town, and all you can do is watch.
Especially since aircraft weren’t widespread in that period yet, there was virtually nothing stopping those titans from leveling the ground they were on flat.
Watching this after the ending is crazy. I watched this before I knew about aot and thought it was cool but now seeing it this video was so, soo good. I love the war and human conflict aspects of aot and this itched that feeling i’ve been wanting too see
I just can't imagine how horrifying it is to see a big, genderless and naked humanoid with a blood stain all around it's mouth and chest because that thing just ate a human. Goddamn bro
Just imagine how truly shocking and horrifying it would be to see the rest of the titan shifters IRL too. I bet the beast titan and the colossal titan would be the scariest looking ones. Oh wait, let’s not also forget about the founding titan too...
