woah! im a dude and i want to cosplay Levi this year, wanted to look up a tutorial thinking all i had to do was add some dark stuff around my eyes... big mistake. there's no way i can do all that! tried a bit today and i ended up looking like a bad drag /laughs still, this is a great tutorial. who knows, maybe if i do it a 1000 times, it'll work haha! thanks!

This is really good but if you want a more natural look try using a light grey on the crease, making it lighter and thinner. Use a thin paintbrush to lower your eye like in the video but add grey underneath to add depth and shadow. Try using a white pencil liner to fill in that flesh colored bit and line your whole waterline and tight line with it to make your eyes pop. It seems silly at first but it's a damn good way to give yourself perfect anime eyes. You can try lining the inner corner of your eye with a bit of black or grey gel liner to add some sharpness to the eye. For the eyebrows, make sure you add primer on top of all that foundation so that your makeup will actually stick. The glue (or whatever else you're using to mask your brows) takes away the natural texture of your skin and makes it a hell of a lot harder for the makeup to stick. (At least, in my experience) Anyway, I'm not sure I like how you drew the eyebrows. The main problem I had with them was how straight they were. In animes, most art is drawn with a face with little or no definition but in real life, you have a skull and bones to shape your body. Since you are not two-dimensional like the character you are trying to achieve, you have to factor your own complexion into the look. Try adding a bit more of a curve. I think the best way to achieve this eyebrow shape is to draw a line tracing the bottom of your own eyebrow and work up a bit by the nose. Also, try using a brown or grey undertone and add small lines with grey liquid liner to imply hair. For shading, you did an amazing job. The only thing I didn't like about it was how dark it was but that may just be the lighting. For the cheeks, though, try bringing the color up next to your sideburns and tracing a light, thin shadow along your hairline. This adds definition and if you do it right, makes your face look more natural. The brow lines were a great touch. Usually when I do my Levi cosplay, I add some lines to my forehead and put a little triangle above my eyes to imply a raised brow. All of this is very subtle, though. For the lips, you can try using a peach colored lipstick. I usually add a bit of pink in the middle to give it a little depth but you can totally change the lips up idk Also your wig is really nice but you should try layering it because it looks a bit thick idk idk *btw this is totally not supposed to be hate I'm just really good with makeup and wanted to add a few tips because Levi is bae okay bye* **crawls into a hole and dies**

YAY I ACT LIKE LEVI MOSTLY YAY I'M AS TALL AS LEVI (I feel short ;-;) YAY I HAVE REALLY SHORT HAIR YAY I HAVE GLUE STICKS DAMMIT I DON'T HAVE ACTUAL MAKEUP (I never use makeup ;-;) DAMMIT I DON'T HAVE THE WIG DAMMIT I'M FAT DAMMIT I'M BLACK ... Actually you know what screw this I may not have the wig but I have really short hair and I can straighten it enough to look like a more feminine Levi. -(wait so basically I'm cosplaying Mikasa at this point)- My eyebrows may be kinda big but I don't need no makeup, I already look pissed when my face is neutral. (I have "perfect" eyebrows. It's a gift and a curse.) And I REFUSE to go on a diet! Diets are suckish and I will NOT stand for this! But the black is genetics. You can't fix that.
