Music has always been a crucial part of Attack on Titan. And for a good reason, Sawano and in S4 Yamamoto created masterpieces that people will listen to for decades to come
To break this down into sounds that we're already familiar with, the first section to 1:28 pulls loosely from "Ashes on the Fire". The synth lead and percussion hit at 1:30 is from "Ashes on the Fire" as well. A recognizable synth grind from "APETITAN" can be heard at 1:39, then faintly at 2:54 and repeating briefly from there. I _believe_ 2:04 to 2:38 is the melody from "Footsteps of Doom", which appears again in a couple places. 4:06 to 4:19 is "Splinter Wolf". Of course, 4:48 is good ol' "ət'aek on Titan", blended with "Ashes on the Fire" at 5:13, which then continue together until the end of the piece. The most notable changes in that are 5:25 and 6:03. In short? Ultimate composer collab. God bless these gentlemen for their incredible work.

Around 2:55 minutes in you also hear these strings that sound reversed, with the same chords as heard in AoTs3-1000略. I imagine there's even more little things hidden here and there, this one's honestly a masterpiece.
I love the fact that Attack on Titan music has melody themes that are rearranged. It gives the feel of cohesion, but also sound fresh and new. Masterpiece of music. These OSTs are the big reason I felt in love with AoT.
The manga may have given us the lore, the voice actors bringing life to the characters but it was the varied yet brilliant music that brought the whole world alive in a jaw-gripping experience from start to finish. What an awesome way honestly to experience it all!
I love how especially around the 6 min mark, you can hear each aspect of YAMAMOTO and SAWANO combining as their iconic styles and melodies intertwined omg
I love how this is the scores way of combing the warriors and the scouts into one with ashes of fire being for the warriors and at’aek on Titan being for the 104th and Levi
Eren’s founding titan has such a cool, lovecraftian design. i love it, i dont think ive seen another creature design that makes you both fearful and morbidly curious at the same time
Ok, anybody else remember when Sawano and Yamamoto released a remix of their AoT themes when S4 first came out? Never would I have imagined it would be officially used in the final soundtrack. I was nerding out!
Hiroyuki Sawano had actually released the ost starting at 4:48 2 years ago idk if anybody had noticed, but one of the things I love so much about this show is the music, imo Sawano is one of the best composers and not just in anime but of all time, Kohta Yamamoto also did a fantastic job for season 4, I’m looking forward to hear new music from the both of them 🤍
I can't accept that AOT is over. I never saw and I can never see something like this level of media like Attack on Titan. I want to mention some scenes and the emotion and high I felt while watching those scenes but It will be spoiler for new ones and I don't to spoil anyone from my side. So, I'll just share my experience with AOT and how I felt after AoT ended. In my opinion AOT is the ggreteast fiction ever created and everything about AOT like story,screenplay,music,emotions,Philosophies etc., each and everything are something much much much more than just great,perfect words are not enough to explain the feel of AOT 🔥 something we can't just simply describe by a word and every time I watch a new episode from AOT I used to be very happy and satisfied and I used to get very excited for next upcoming episode because AOT never disappoints and everytime a new AOT episode used to drop Definitely I can say the episode will be great and fantastic even before watching that episode. That's the level of perfection and excellence every episode has and every episode just sticks to the content and emotions never waste the time by showing some stupid and crappy fanservice scenes and I used to look forward for every upcoming episode with ultimate satisfaction given by previous episodes. Those good were great when I used to see "To be Continued" with mind-blowing cliffhangers but now this is very sad to think that I am now going to part the ways with my most favorite favorite media AOT and I cannot see any new episode from this masterpiece anymore and watching "The End" instead of "To be Continued" is very Heartbreaking 💔. This makes me feel to go back to those days when I began to watch and started my journey with Attack on Titan. I genuinely and wholeheartedly thank Hajime Isayama (The Creator) Wit studios (Animators of Season-1,2,3) and Mappa (Animators of final season i.e., final season) and each and everyone those are involved to create and presented this greatest show in the world "Attack on Titan" your work reached our hearts and remains in out hearts forever and we salute and dedicate our hearts to your work, your art, your creation and I will miss and remember AOT forever 🥺😭💔
The last 2 and a half minutes is pure perfection. Not that the rest isnt but, we all must be thankful for being alive during the time and age where Attack on Titan and JJK are peak and blessing us with this rn.
To me this song symbolizes the Warriors from Marley and Scouts from Paradis coming together for one last battle to save humanity Such a beautiful piece
