Floch is a great character and very realistic he knows he isn't strong enough to fight against Titans hence he backs up the guy that can and tries to still be as useful as possible in this war. He's also a true patriot and is willing to help as much as he can to kill every other race for survival of his own. Also he knows and admits he's a coward and intelligent enough to not go against someone that can clearly kill him or worse.

It is fascinating watching floch who used to opposed eren to inject armin but turned into his loyal right hand. On the other side armin, the one who was saved become the man who annoyed eren the most. Edit thanks for the likes guys And spoilers alert for anime only I just reread it and I just realized, his right arm was shot by Gabi, attach his ODM to the ship, dragged on the ocean for hundreds kilometers away, just to shoot the damn amphibi plane. Floch rejected the idea of reviving Armin because he thought Erwin was the devil that Paradis needed to move foward. Later, Eren becomes that devil and Floch realizes that he is the only one that can save the eldian race, because much like Erwin, Eren is prepared to sacrifice everything.

Destroy the world, paradis destroys itself: destroy 80%, paradis now has a chance to fend for itself. You miss the entire point of thsts what’s you think. I love how Eren was treated as a character in AoT. Started out seemingly as just another archetypical shounen MC who gets power and defined only by his obsession towards a single goal and nothing more. But from Season 2 and especially 3 we see a lot of self awareness in him that really surprised me. I love how Eren's own views about himself says something about the nature of heroes: Just getting powers gifted to you doesn't make one special (*cough trash power fantasy isekai light novel protagonists). Season 3 ends with a cliffhanger that had a small hint of what was to come. And from Season 4 we see just how Eren had changed due to the world he was born in and the things he experienced. The thing is: Eren was never anyone exceptionally special by himself. He was not a talented fighter like Levi or Mikasa, nor a great leader like Erwin. Even the physically weak Armin contributed a lot through his wit. Eren was just another human being born in the world of AoT. He is flawed just like any human. Hence it should not be surprising that his experiences would lead him to such a dark and twisted path.

@Eren Yeager becomes a bird I said SORT OF. when I meant by extinct, I meant that no Eldian will remember the fact that they have the ability to turn into Titan (including the 9) , so Titans will be forgotten in time. Pretty sure it's established that every one of the nine will die after 13 yrs , though it hasn't been shown. We'll wait for final chapter ig.

Either way, Found or not, Eren wanted to protect his friends but sadly, he was enslaved to his own freedom ideology, and with that, he was chosen from the start by Ymir. He sacrificed his life, his dreams to be a pawn in a cruel world, and still had to carry the burden of killing over a billion people, whilst being hated by his friends he wanted to protect.

Eren's decision to allow himself to be killed before it was all over was because he wanted to leave the future to his friends.
