I think the worst part about Armin witnessing Hange go out firsthand is that he’s the only one who knows full well just how excruciating it feels to be burned alive like that.
Although, ironically, we don’t actually know if he ever regained his memory of that moment since eating Bertoldt. It’s possible his only knowledge of the experience was from Eren’s recounting of events. *That is, of course, assuming his memory wasn’t jogged by Hange’s death, forcing him to relive it all over again.*
20:50 If you guys noticed, Levi was the only one who didn't look up when Annie left. There were theories that Levi had a very difficult time forgiving Annie for mercilessly killing his first team💔
26:34 The OST used in Hange's last fight is "Bauklötze", which we first heard in Season 1. And its lyrics says "We will fight until this hot wind takes our wings." B E A U T I F U L😭
@@eglantinepapeau1582 ep 19 bite. When the flashback ends and it shows petra with the bite mark from Erens training all the way until Levi leads the female titan into Erwins trap
I love the subtle detail of only Mikasa and Levi hearing the first rocks thrown by Zeke. Whether it’s acute awareness or just a sixth sense, it just reminds us that they’re both Ackermans and are basically super human.
@@ItsAv3rageGamer It's more that they never even explain what Ackermans are. Them being literal like, titans in human form. Born from experiments in the earlier Eldian Empire. The reason they can't be manipulated or turned into titans is because they already are. They are genuinely superhuman. They also get combat experience passed down from all their ancestors. Like none of this is mentioned in the anime.
Hange’s death is for me one of, if not the best death/ sacrifice scenes ever. You can just feel the love the studio had for this character to make this scene as amazing and touching as possible. I feel absolute storm of emotions, with joy and amazement because of how cool she really was here, and absolute sadness to the tears. The animation, the OST, the reactions of other characters, it all feels like too much.
also, I find it interesting Hange is the character for which Isayama decided to show the paths after the death. as if he knew this is the one we would not get over with and decided to give this bit of consolation.
My brother on the right was finished when he watched Hange's last stand. I don't get people who say the writing in season 4 was weaker, man. This is incredible stuff.
it's absolutely insanity to me when people say this story gets weaker after s3. I might've liked Studio WIT's style a -bit- more, but I think everything from the change in aesthetics, to the new soundtracks, to the direction/editing, it all is absolutely FIRE. And in fact aids the story more than anything else. The story shifts in tone, so does everything else.
don’t know if you guys caught this but at 8:36 those prisoners were actually eren and zekes grandparents. that’s why the mom said “judgment day has come for us” 😭
Marley prison them, just like saying we captured and prisoned your grandparent and let you crush them also with your rumbling, Eren. Damn, not even Eren ate his father, let the titan ate his _ _ _, let multiple titans ate his stepmum, he even let Colossal Titans crush his grandparent also. That's cold heart, man.
I think it's amazing how all of the characters are, in various ways, not that different from each other. Grisha regretting he never treated Zeke like his son and then You got Karina and the other parents acknowledging the same sins Grisha committed. The talk between Connie and Reiner was another good example.
Part I broke me man. Especially with the music in the background as Hange was taking out titan after titan (she amazing!). But whenever I hear that song I tear up. Love that they brought it back. And afterward I got so excited seeing Hange okay on the floor but then I heard Erwin's voice and saw everyone and Sasha and I lost it. It was heartbreakingly beautiful. I can't have imagined a better way for her to go. Her "exit" was supremely cool. I actually haven't seen Part II yet because I'm so terrified of the show ending. But ima go watch it now that I've seen your reactions and caught up and feel "refreshed" with everything that happened. Then I'll come back and see your Part II reaction lol. I'm sad but also happy I got to watch this amaazing show. And thank you for reacting to it all the way to the very end!
A gentle reminder that Isayama once confessed his dream is to open a day spa with the sweat and tears of his readers. Brother is a full time sadistic menace. Absolute mad lad 💀
I cried too when Hange died but boy i cried my eyes out in the last episode than i started watching every reaction to the last episode and cry with them for literally a week 😂
I love how you look at each character with gentle expressions. it's okay. The fact that I'm so immersed in this show that I can't even give a reaction is a great reaction in itself.
PART 1 AND 2 both goated. just part 2 is complex and people took time to process it's not for the ones who watch it without understanding i..i am sure once you 'understand' why and what they are showing...YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THE PART2 WRITING
You know what, I lost count on how many I've rewatch this episode... I've watch many react videos because I still can't move on from AOT and it still give me chills, but it depends on how the person I've watch reacted, and I have to say this I cried again and feel so broke again to watch it with you guys. Thank you for the reaction!! I think I should stop watching AOT reaction after you guys finish it, I need time to heal hahahaha
The end credits song. Sim released it half...after the last part of finale they released it full...that song is from mikasa and eren's pov and do check out the lyrics after ending AOT (best anime ever written). SONG - UNDER THE TREE.
Hange Zoe. G.O.A.T. status achieved. Rest in glory! Seeing that their comrades were ALWAYS watching was good to get that answer. Erwin was always asking and then Hange too.
Hange the goat I love her since the moment I saw her. Get ready because the final episode make me feel like my heart broke and I was sad for 2 months. I'll always remember aot like one of the best one.
Damn, noo need to apologize!! You said enough with your faces. There was not much to say, so much was happening. You reacted perfectly as always. I'm glad you "enjoyed" this episode, no matter how painful it was
Hange 🫡 you will be forever be known as one of the coolest women to ever grace our screen. I definitely cried seeing Hange fight her last fight 😢🫡 our 🐐
I think we all assume hange is "her" because of the voice in the anime, but my understanding from the manga is that the sex is never revealed and it was intended in that way, the reader could decide if it was "he" or "she". I may be wrong though
@@alejandrovalencia2922author said it’s „up to the readers interpretation” and „it doesn’t matter”. most people automatically interpret / assume Hange is a woman and it’s fine.
Glad u guys are back. Yeah Hanji death was one of the most saddest death😢 i know that u guys had watched the last part please upload the reaction soon and yes that final part literally blow up the whole fandom 😢😢 i cried too hard and i still cried a lot😢😢😢
* *no spoilers, of course* * y'all getting to watch the whole show and these two specials so closely together is so great for y'all and has been great to watch. it's how this show was supposed to be experienced. Nobody writes a story thinking about how long something might take to get made, animated, or dubbed, and released to the public. The time gaps between seasons and episodes was the only real fault of the show, IMO. You two got to watch the previous flashback episode close enough to this that the small details hadn't faded the same way they might have for others like me who didn't rewatch that episode again before this part was released. I felt it and certain things only hit me once I watched them again back to back, leading me to not make that same mistake between these final two parts and I think that made a huge difference. I can totally understand some people's relative disappointment but "disappointment" when referring to the end of a series should be reserved for the handful of shows that might have been as hyped as AoT but ultimately dropped the ball. One specific show comes to mind, lol.
I was so looking forward to this! Hange Zoë was my favourite character and their death was devastating to me, I cried seeing Tobz reaction. You guys are the best reactors, I love your AOT content, big hugs and happy new year! One more episode to go!
Me waking up at 5 AM for no reason, then seeing this pop up and got all excited. Me 5 minutes in, watching Ramzi and Halil dying: “Man, it’s too early for this BS, I’m going back to bed.” 😂😂😂😂 But for real, I’ve missed watching this with you and wasn’t disappointed. Don’t feel bad about not saying much, it was a lot to take in and feel. Hange’s death hit me hard and I still cry every time I watch it. But then when she wakes up with Erwin, and Moblit helps her up…😭. Perfect. I can’t believe we just have the finale left. You guys are definitely in my top 3 of reactors and I’m going to miss this. Personally I thought the finale was amazing and am satisfied with how it all wrapped up. Hopefully you guys will like it. Either way I’ll be here for the reaction! Happy New Year to you both! 🎉 I’m glad this past year brought me to your channel!
A reminder, just in case you guys didn't realise it, those prisoners are Eren's and Zeke's granparents, they were there because of Zeke betrayed Marley
I have watched multiple reactions to this episode. I always cry seeing Hange die. And the music is heartbreaking. Armin and Hange are my favourite characters. When Armin died because of Bertholt I could not stop crying.
I was looking forward to it! It's finally here, isn't it? I really understand how you feel about clapping at the Titanization scene. We have followed a long, long journey to this point with each of our thoughts and feelings. I love this work more than any other in my life. I hope you will join me in fighting with everyone until the end. With love from Japan!
i was opening yt everyday waiting for this upload cause i dont trust my notifications, thats how anxious i was for this. havent watched the video yet, but i already know i wont be disapointed. happy new year
Hange's death had me bawling blood, she was never any of my fav characters or whatever like for me she was just there and I liked her but damn that shit was emotional
I think this episode does a wonderful job in putting out there the idea that everyone in the cast has since to atone for, and Reiner realizes maybe Eren wants them to stop them, which is technically true. BUT It also leads to one of the biggest pieces of confusion after part 2: A lot of people seem to forget in Part 2 what Eren himself said in this episde: "I wanted this. When I saw the world wasn't what I saw in Armin's book, I was disappointed. I WANTED TO WIPE IT ALL OUT." The series is very ambiguous about whether, or how much Eren is being influenced by Ymir, but they forget that no matter what happened after he freed Ymir, Eren CHOSE the rumbling. He WANTED THIS. He saw the world, saw it wasn't like Armin showed him, and he went "I want to level this sh**". He started manipulating Grisha's actions and his own to tweak things, but he never sought other perspectives. He could have talked to Armin to come up with a solution, he could have gotten all of his friends together to come up with a solution, he could have done so many different things to try to find a solution that wasn't genocide, but he didn't, because he wanted this. His mind had already been made up about what he wanted to do so there was no consultation to be made. No options but his choice. People will always try to justify Eren one way or another, but in the end this is what he wanted, he chose this, just because he got buyers remorse after doing it, he doesn't get hero points.
This it’s like people forgot the importance of Eren and Reiners conversation in the basement. Reiner had all opportunities to justify his actions but instead said he wanted to do it for a selfish reason. Only then did Eren saw they were the same. Eren tried to justify wanting to destroy the world as protecting people he even created a persona to deal with and coop with his actions like Reiner. But in the end he just wanted to do it and the facade goes away after Armin punches him
I honestly loved part 2 as well, not underwhelming at all for me. it was beautiful and i think you guys will like it too. i will say, take some time to think about it and process everything before you draw any conclusions about it - it’s a LOT, and it takes time to properly get your head around everything and connect up all the dots in the way that was intended and to consider your own interpretations.
It may sound cruel, but I would have left Hange's "afterlife" scene for the after-credits because giving us that moment immediately took away from the heartbreak. Just my opinion
Seeing the "afterlife" scene for the after credits would've definitely hit a lot harder, but I still enjoyed seeing it immediately bc it gave me a chance to breathe and feel hope before getting suffocated again lmao
Thanks guys for your great reactions. I’m looking forward to seeing your reaction for the last ep. After finishing the series I hope you guys react to this: Attack on titan suite - hiroyuki sawano project emu It is attack on titan’s original sound tracks and it literally makes you remember the actual scene the ost was played on.
It's sad that the only commments they see about the part 2 is from cringe ass dude that understood nothing of what they saw and call it bad. It's by far the most emotional and action packed season of the whole serie. For me it's the greatest.
