Always liked your reflections at the end, I agree also loved the part where Armin and Zeke were talking in the paths, what they interpret and see different things is so powerful to me in the story, which I really liked. Looking forward to see what you react next!

Just to clarify when he said that he didnt want to mikasa forget him he was freaking out and showing his deepest feelings to his best friend before he dies. He after says that he wants her to find love and be happy and asks Armin not to tell mikasa what he said. He eas said because he couldnt be with the girl that he loves and his friends. We forget he is 19 year boy. I love your reactions tho

AoT is actually set in a mirrored version of our own world (the map is ours just flipped and mirrored and its pointed out by falco that the sun rises in the west and sets in the east near the end of the episode "Pride") but its never really that big of a focus since AoT's world tries to invoke the feeling of alternate history more so than an overtly fictional fantasy world.

@@chefkochkawasaki4127Of course it makes sense. Marley's treatment of Eldians is very similar to Israel's treatment of Palestinians. Also the Jaegerist's fascism is very similar to the genocidal fascism in Israel and their justification for genocide is exactly the same as Israel's justification for the complete genocide in Gaza. Isayama based the story on real world events for a reason.
